Let's just uh ignore everything for a second, yea?

"We should make an anime."

"Are you high again?"

"No," Japan sighed, letting her head fall onto the backrest of the couch. "Canada isn't letting me into his stash."

South chuckled, rolling her eyes as she doodles away in her sketchbook, "Ok, what brought this up then?"

"The anime idea?"

"Mmhm."

"Well," Japan sat up straight, setting her tail on her legs and smoothing out it out in her lap. "You can draw. I can draw. I love anime. You love watching me be dumb over anime. It could totally work!"

"Right but what would we make it about?" South asked, pointing the end of her pencil towards Japan.

"Anything!" Japan grinned. "Possibilities are endless!"

"Not really," South admitted. "I can't really draw animals. Especially giraffes. God, I'm terrible at giraffes."

"Okaaaaay, no giraffes then," Japan nodded, sliding down on the couch. "Well magical girl animes are popular, aren't they? Like Sailor Moon is one of my favourites! Along with Evangelion of course. AND OH MY GOSH--"

Japan shot up like a bullet out of a gun, her eyes wide and sparkling, "HAVE YOU SEEN THE DISASTROUS LIFE OF SAIKI K? IT SOOOOO GOOD!! IT'S ABOUT THIS ARO/ACE TEEN WITH CRAZY COOL PSYCHIC POWERS AND--"

"Shhhhhh," South smiled, pressing her pointer finger to Japan's lips, making the other's ears perk up and her tail twitch. "I know, sunshine. You've only told it to me a million times."

Japan flushed from embarrassment, scratching her neck and looking at the ground, "Sorry."

"You're lucky you're cute," South teased, going back to sketching.

Japan puffed out her cheeks and flattened her ears. She folded her arms over her chest and leaned back into the couch, listening to the music playing quietly from South's speakers. It was some K-pop song Japan surprisingly hadn't heard before. Maybe it was a new group?

She stared at the ceiling as she thought. Japan and South hadn't spoken about their "date" thing after America left. When Japan said they should make out they just laughed it off awkwardly and started naming all the cats in the cafe.

Japan's ears perked up when a certain song came on, a huge grin on her face. She lifted herself up off the couch, dancing along with the music, making South blush and bunch over her sketchbook.

"No. Noooooo, no, no, no, no," South protested as Japan made little come hither motions with her hands. "I am not dancing with you."

"1776," Japan mouthed, wiggling her eyebrows. "New York city."

"PaRdOn me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?" Japan said in tune with the song, pointing to South when Burr spoke, South shaking her head vehemently.

"Oh well sure, sir!" Japan twirled around, holding up a finger. "I'm Alexander Hamilton, I'm at your service, sir. I have been, looking for you-"

"I'm getting nervous," South mumbled, causing Japan's tail to flick in excitement.

"SIR, I heard your name at Princeton, I was seeking an accelerated course of study," Japan made hand motions along with her words. "When I got sort of out of sorts with a buddy of yours - I may have punched him. It's a blur, sir, he handles the financials...?"
