Jakob's POV
"Okay," Wesley says, as Greg, Will and myself sit outside on the grass at lunch time. "Fuck, marry, kill out of Ashley, Bailey and Chloe?"

"Ooh that's a hard one," I say, taking a sip of my lemonade. "I'd kill Bailey, cause she's a bitch," I state. "Fuck Ashley and Marry Chloe."

"Nice," Will says. "Why would you marry Chloe?"

I shrug. "I guess she's nice."

"You think something could happen there?" Greg asks. I scowl at him. "That's a no."

"We aren't even friends," I say. "And even if that happens, it will stay that way."

"Okay," Wesley says. "Your turn."

"Uh, Will, Greg and myself?"

"Kill Will," Wesley says instantly making Greg and myself laugh and Will scoff. "Fuck you and marry Greg."

I nod. "That's reasonable."

"No way I could marry you with your mood swings," Wesley jokes.

"I am not that bad," Will argues. "I could totally rock your world."

"Will," Greg says in distaste. "That is why he killed you."

"Okay your turn," Will snaps at Greg. "Annie, Willow and Jasmine?"

"Those are my sisters!"

"Answer the question!"

"I will not," Greg growls. "Go fuck yourself."

"That's not physically possible!"

"Oh dear," Wesley mutters.

"How are they friends?" I ask Wesley, as those two continue arguing.

"Me," Wesley laughs. "I'm the one that holds us together."

"Sounds about right," I mutter.

"Jakob what do you think?" Will asks.

"About what?"

"Me setting you up with Jasmine?"

I chuckle. "I don't know her."

"It's Greg's sister," Will says. "She's sixteen."

"Pass," I say.

"What? Why?"

"I only date one year younger," I state. "Or my age."

"Well that's shit," Will says.

"Then you date her," I say.

"No," Greg growls. "Absolutely not."

"Why not?" Will whines. "We could be brother in laws."

"I do not want that," Greg says. "I only put up with you now because of Wesley."

"Told you," Wesley whispers in my ear.

*
I hear the doorbell ring and quickly call for Sam to take me downstairs.

I sit down on the couch, waiting for Chloe to speak. "Hi honey," I hear Mum say. "I got pizza."

I slump on the couch. "What type?"

"Meat lovers of course," she says.

I feel her put the box in my lap. I open it and grab out a piece.

I was starving.

"Chloe's not coming by the way," Mum says. "She said she has a family dinner."

"Oh," I say. Why do I feel disappointed?

Do I like Chloe?

I mean I guess I know why. She's hot, smart, has a sense of humour.

And I did crush on her freshman year.

Till Samuel decided to pull that prank on her and blame it all on me. But being his best friend, I took the fall.

And got my heart broken.

"You look deep in thought." I jump at Violet's voice.

"That's cause I was," I grunt.

"Are you thinking about Chloe?"

I sit up surprised. "What?"

"I asked if you were thinking about Chloe," she says. "Your girlfriend."

I scowl. "She's not my girlfriend."

"You two act like it," she says. "Can I dress up Sam?"

"Absolutely not," I answer. "And what do you mean we act like it?"

"You two are always flirting," she says. "And you can't say you aren't, because I'm ten and can see it."

I grunt. She had a good point. I may have been flirting with her, but Chloe definitely wasn't flirting with me.

She hates my guts.

I take the pizza box off my lap and run my fingers through my hair. "So can I dress Sam?" Violet asks.

"No," I answer.

"But he'd look so much better," Violet whines. "Can I at least give him a bath?"

"Maybe tomorrow," I say.

"Okay," she chirps.

I hear her little feet run away.

One problem solved. Another begins.
