Jakob's POV
"Nice cast man," Will says, as Wesley sits me down beside him. "Can I sign it?"

"Go ahead," I say. He grabs my arm and wait.

"I signed it, your best friend," Will says. "Because obviously I am."

Wesley scoffs. "Okay will."

"See you at lunch?" I ask Wesley.

"Depends," he answers. "Are we going to see Chloe there too?"

I sigh. "She wouldn't want to speak to me."

"How would you know?" He asks.

I groan. "Wesley I don't-"

"Have any balls," he cuts in.

I scowl. "You will have to take me to her."

So at lunch time, that's what Wesley did.

I know cause I could hear Bailey bitching.

"Um hi," I saw awkwardly. "Chloe can we talk?"

"Whatever you have to say to me, you can say in front of my friends," she comments.

"Okay," I sigh. "Look I'm sorry for pushing you away. You were only thinking about what was best for me, and I acted like a dick about it."

I hear her faintly hum. "Anything else?"

"I would love to take you out again," I say awkwardly. I could feel everyone of her friends looking at me.

"If you want," she says.

"I'll, um, see you tonight?" I question.

"Yep."

"Let's go," I say to Wesley.

He pulls me away and he takes me into the bathroom

I needed to pee okay.

"I don't think she has forgiven me," I say, as I piss and Wesley waits but the sink.

"Your only confused cause you couldn't see her facial expressions," Wesley states. "She does forgive you."

"If you say so," I mumble. I follow where his voice came from and smile proudly, when I feel the sink.

"So what you think your gonna do for your second date?" Wesley asks.

"I know Chloe likes the Lakers," I say. "So I'm gonna take her to a game."

"That's nice," Wesley says. "Do you know her favorite player?"

"Dwight Howard," I answer.

"That's funny how you know that," he says.

I shrug. "We talked about it on our date."

"And you remembered everything?"

I shrug. "I'm a good listener."

"Whatever you say man," Wesley says.

*
"Hi," Chloe says, as I feel her sit beside me.

"Hey," I smile. "Glad you came."

"Well your mums paying me, so it's mandatory," she states. "Plus it's probably the last."

I frown. "Why?"

"You've adapted to this so quickly," she says. "You don't need me."

"Yes I do," I say.

She chuckles. "No you don't."

"Look," I say. I hold out my hand and smile when she places hers in it.

It's like we have our own communication system.

"What?" She asks.

"I might not need you for Braille anymore," I claim. "But I do need you in my life."

"Is that right?"

"Yes," I say. "Because I really like you."

She giggles. "Yeah?"

"One hundred percent," I say. "You busy Saturday?"

"No," she answers.

"I was thinking we could go to a Lakers game," I say.

"Really?" She asks, excited. "Will you be alright?"

"I'll bring Sam," I state.

"That sounds awesome," she chirps. "I'm definitely gonna get Dwight Howard and Lebron James's autographs."

"So it's a date?" I question.

"It's a date," she confirms.

The hand that was in mine, brings my hand up to her face. I cup her cheek and bring her closer to me, kissing her.

This kiss makes me a little nervous and excited, just because we haven't kissed this passionately before. Our tongues dance together and just as my other hand was inching to her waist;

"Ew!"

We pull away quickly and I scowl. "Shut the hell up Violet."

"That looked gross," she says.

"Piss off," I hiss at her.

I hear her stomp away and Chloe laugh. "We better start studying anyway," she says. "Your mums not paying me to make out with you."

"I don't want to study," I say. "Let's just continue what we were doing."

"No," she laughs. "Now did you read the rest of the book?"

"Yes I did," I say. "I can't believe I was wrong."

"It's a huge twist," Chloe says.

"Who knew that his mother would of murdered him," I comment.

"It's absolutely horrible," she says. "But I'm so happy that you actually read the whole book."

"You were right," I say to her. "It has become normal for me to read Braille. I even read two other books that you didn't even give me."

"Nerd," she teases.

"You like this nerd," I flirt. "Now kiss this nerd."

She giggles, but does so wrapping her arms around my neck.

I wish I could see her.
