Jennie POV
"We are finally here!" Lisa excitedly says as they land in Australia
"I'm glad to see you happy, Love. This will be so much better when we go home with Ella." Jennie says
"Jennie. I was wondering." Lisa turns to her "hmm?" Jennie says
"You're here with me, helping me bring Ella home. Does that mean, you'll raise her with me? I mean you don't have to. Your support is more than enough." Lisa shyly says
"Love, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't in this with you 100%. She will be our beautiful girl." Jennie responds as she pulls Lisa for a kiss
On the way to Little Angels
"I'm so nervous, what if they won't let me bring her home. I won't be able to go home. Not without her." Lisa cries
"Shh. Ella is going to jump in your arms. She will choose you, Lisa" Jennie reassures her
They step off the cab and walk into the orphanage, Wendy welcomes them with a huge smile on her face
"LISA!! we have missed you here! Ella missed you so much! Where's Rosie??" Wendy ask
Jennie feels a pang in her chest knowing that Rosie was initially supposed to be in her place
Lisa squeezes her hand for reassurance and turns to Wendy "She is definitely going to see Ella again, she's back home waiting too! This is Jennie by the way, the love of my life. She's going to be raising Ella with me!" Lisa says happily
"OMG in the flesh! Nice to meet you Jennie! Ella talks about you all the time she says she talks to you on FaceTime with Lisa all the time, she's grown to love you!" Wendy says
"I've grown to love her too. I'm very excited to see her! Is she here?" Jennie asks
Wendy looks over to Lisa and sighs "Shes here. You will see her for sure but I have to tell you guys something.. Ella's.." just then Wendy is interrupted
"LISAAAA !!!!" Ella runs in for a hug "Ella I missed you and I have a surprise for you!" Lisa says
"I want you to meet..".."JENNIE!!!" Ella hugs her "I am so happy you guys are here!!!" Ella is ecstatic
"Ella! Where did you run off to!!" Someone says
Jennie and Lisa look towards the direction of the voice "Kai???" Jennie says in shock
"Jennie??? What are you doing here??" Kai responds
Lisa looks confused, Jennie gives her a look signaling she will explain it later
"I should be asking you that!" Jennie says
"Well, remember I told you I had a daughter..." Kai says
*No this can't be.. it can't be..* Jennie thinks "This is her, Ella" Kai explains
Lisa is shocked, scared, worried, broken of what happens next
"Lisa meet my dad!!" Ella says
"Nice to meet you, Lisa. Ella talks so much about you!" Kai smiles
Lisa just returns the smile and excuses herself
"Kai, can I talk to you for a minute." Jennie says
"Sure what's up!" Kai replies
"Ella go over there and play with Lisa first okay, I'll just talk to your Dad for a bit." Jennie says and Ella follows as she runs to Lisa. She sees Lisa grab Ella's hand and walks towards the swings. It breaks her heart to know what Lisa is thinking.. that she just might not.. bring Ella home.
"Are you...are you here to get Ella?" Jennie asks, although she knows the answer to this
"Yes. I told you when I saw you that I left my daughter when her Mom passed, I couldn't take care of her and that haunt me ever since, now that I am doing well I want to give her the life she deserves. I am just thankful she remembers me." Kai said sadly "So... how do you know Ella?" he adds
"Well remember the person I told you about? the one I am madly in love with.. thats Lisa. She met Ella and took care of her for about 2 years when she lived here." Jennie answered
"I am so happy Lisa came into Jennie's life. Please feel free to visit anytime you want. You guys are always welcome to see Ella." Kai says
"Have they allowed you to take her home?" Jennie asks
"I have no doubt they will, after all.. I am the father. But they did say someone wanted to adopt Ella. That Ella can make a choice but now that I am back I am sure she wants to come home with me." Kai says confidently then realizes.. "Wait... its Lisa.. She wants to adopt Ella??" Jennie just nods
"Look Kai, I know that you want to make things right with Ella. But Lisa was there when she thought no one wanted her, Lisa brought a smile back to her face. The one you took away." Jennie says
"You are not seriously using that against me? I am not a bad person. I did what I had to do at the time. She would have been miserable with me when I had nothing. This isn't some tangible thing that you can just ask me if you can have. Jennie as much as I love you. Ella is my daughter." Kai says
"Kai.." Jennie begins to say.. "Marry me Jennie. Lets raise Ella together. Lisa can be in our lives too if you want." Kai says out of no where
"I love Lisa. What don't you get." Jennie says in annoyance
"Well, I am sorry but that is my only condition if you want to have Ella in your lives. I am not giving you my daughter." Kai says
"And if Ella chooses Lisa?" Jennie ask
"Then I will see you in court." Kai responds
