Chapter 39: My First Love

-4 days before the wedding-

Jennie POV 

*Ring*

She hears her phone go off, she checks to see who it is.. Its Lisa.

"Hello?" Jennie says 

"Hey Jen! Sorry to bother you so early, I just need a favor if that'd be alright?" Lisa says on the other line

"Sure, whatsup?" Jennie says 

"I am currently with my parents right now fixing things for the wedding. Justin is in the apartment still with Tzuyu, but she needs to leave before 4pm. Do you mind picking him up a little early? If you are busy, thats fine, I can call Rosie too." Lisa mentions 

"Oh! Don't worry about it, I can go pick him up on my way to the grocery. Is there anything else?" Jennie replies 

"That would be all! Thanks for being so great! i'll see you in a couple days!" Lisa says before ending the call 

3:45pm, Jennie just arrived to Lisa's apartment building. She makes her way up to the 7th floor where Lisa's unit is. 

The elevator opens, and she is in shock with what she sees.. its Tzuyu... kissing someone.. someone who isn't Lisa. 

"Tzu..Tzuyu..." Jennie says 

"Jennie..." Tzuyu responds 

"I.. uh... I came to pick Justin up.." Was all Jennie could say 

"Oh right. Please come in, he is sleeping in the room." Tzuyu says 

Jennie makes her way into the apartment but could not avoid hearing what Tzuyu told the person she kissed "I'll handle it. I will talk to her." is what she heard 

Moments later she heard the front door close, she was about to carry Justin who was vast asleep

"Jennie, can I talk to you for a minute in the living room?" Tzuyu asks 

"Uhm. Sure." Jennie responds 

and they both make their way to the living room, Tzuyu asks her to take a seat 

"So.. with what you saw.. I can explain." Tzuyu says 

"It isn't really any of my business." Jennie says trying to sound less involved when in the inside she just wanted to grab her hair and beat the shit out of her for doing that to Lisa 

"I know. But I would still like to explain." Tzuyu says 

"Okay. Go ahead, Tzu." Jennie nods

"Before I fell in love with Lisa... we were both... uhm.. broken. She was hurting because of you, and I was hurting because of someone. Our stories were similar, so it was easy for us to rely on each other. We first promised not to fall in love with each other. But as Lisa and I got closer, it couldn't be helped. I love Lisa, so much and I know she loves me just as much too. However, there was always this unspoken thing between us.. I always knew that she would love you more than she could ever love me.. or anyone else... and I know that because it is exactly the same for me... and the person I loved before Lisa. My first love." Tzuyu says crying 

Jennie couldn't comprehend anything at the moment, all that she thought about was "If Tzuyu leaves Lisa, she will be broken. She will be devastated. She will be in pain for loving someone who left her.... again."

Jennie kneels on the ground crying and she takes Tzuyu's hand and says "Please. Don't leave her. Don't give up on her. She loves you Tzu. No matter what you think she wants to be with you. She doesn't deserve this kind of pain. She doesn't deserve to be screwed over by the world over and over again. Please don't do this to her." Jennie cries 

"Jen.." Tzuyu says as she is still crying too "If you were to get married, and Lisa came back into your life, and asked you for a chance.. to be truly happy again. Would you take it?" she asks 

Jennie just looks at her and says nothing.. but her eyes say it all.. Tzuyu continues 

"You will. Because its Lisa... and that person you saw me with.. that is my Lisa." Tzuyu adds

Just then.. Lisa walks into the apartment shocked at what she sees, Jennie on her knees crying, while Tzuyu was also crying.. 

"Wh..whats going on?? Baby??" Lisa says as she walks up to Tzuyu.. this is when Jennie stands up 

"Lisa... I can't... I can't marry you." Tzuyu cries 

Lisa is furious "WHAT DID YOU TELL HER, JENNIE??? I THOUGHT WE WERE GOOD?? I THOUGHT YOU ACCEPTED EVERYTHING. I TRUSTED YOU." she yells at Jennie 

Jennie can't say anything she just cries even more.. she sees hatred in Lisa's eyes, for the first time, she felt as if the love of her life.. hates nothing more, than how she hated her 

"Lisa! Stop yelling at Jennie she didn't do anything!!" Tzuyu says 

"I DON'T BELIEVE THAT. I AM SURE SHE SAID SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU LEAVE. SHE IS SELFISH. I AM NEVER GOING TO LOVE HER NO MATTER HOW STUPID SHE LOOKS BEGGING. ITS PATHETIC." Lisa shouts in anger 

"Jen.. I am so sorry, please take Justin and go." Tzuyu says 

Jennie turns around still crying to take Justin.. but before she takes another step Lisa grabs her arm harshly and whispers to her "I swear to God, Jennie. If my wedding is ruined, I will never forgive you. You would be dead to me." and she lets her arm go. Jennie rushes to take Justin who wakes up from the abrupt pick up and holds onto Jennie who is crying while rushing out of the apartment "mommy, why are you crying???" he says in her arms 

"Nothing baby. Mommy is okay." Jennie says as they make their way out of the building
