I was her first, she was my last.

Chapter 44: The Gang

Jennie POV 

Justin is with Lisa's parents tonight because the gang wanted to hang out. It has been a while since we all spent time together and I really miss them. 

Lisa and I decided to go together that way we only use one car. 

"Jen, you ready?" Lisa asks 

"Yeah, I'll be down in a minute. Ill see you in the car!" Jennie responds

With everything that has been going on, Jennie wanted to find some time to talk to Lisa, and to finally tell her that she is letting go. She thought the car ride would be the right time to do that since it would be just them. 

Jennie gets in the car and they make their way to the bar where the rest of the gang are already waiting.

On the way... 

"Hey, Lis.. How are you?" Jennie asks 

Lisa smiles and looks over at her then looks back at the road "I am fine, Jen. I guess you can say I am happy. What about you?" Lisa responds 

"I guess I am okay, but there is one thing I kinda want to talk to you about." Jennie begins 

"Shoot." Lisa says 

"Well, things between you and I have been such a roller coaster. Sometimes I still think about what could be." Jennie says but Lisa interrupts "Jen..." but Jennie continues "BUT. lately, I have been wanting to tell you.. that I am finally ready to let you go. To have our chapter end as anything more than friends. I see you happy, healthy, glowing. I no longer want to do anything to jeopardize what we have now." she says 

Lisa parks the car where the bar is, and looks over at Jennie. She doesn't say anything... she just moves closer.. and hugs her tightly. 

It was then Jennie realized that they will always love each other, but maybe this life wasn't for them to end up together. 

As they make their way to the bar they see the gang excitedly waving at them 

Seulgi stands up and runs to hug them, followed by Jisoo. When they make their way to the table Irene and Rosie give them hugs as well

"Now, that we are complete I have a huge announcement." Jisoo says 

all of them look at her awaiting what she was going to say 

"Rosie and I... broke up." She says 

"WHAT!" they all say together 

Rosie hits Jisoo on the shoulder "Dumbass. She meant.. we are... GETTING MARRIED!!!" showing off the ring

"OMG!" Jennie says as she hugs her best friend then Jisoo

Everybody exchanges hugs and they all enjoy the night, just like old times

Everyone was happy, everyone was okay. 

 *ring* 

"Excuse me guys, I have to take this." Lisa says and makes her way out of the bar to take the call 

The gang all looks at Jennie.. 

"I am fine, guys. Please don't worry about me. I am happy she's happy and I am finally ready to let her go." Jennie says 

"We just want you to know that we will always be here for you, Jen." Rosie says 

"We love you, and we will always wish you happiness." Irene follows 

"Shot!!" Seulgi says 

and they all take a shot 

"You couldn't even wait for me??" Lisa says 

"Then lets take another!!" Jisoo says 

After taking the shot, Jennie looks over at Lisa "You okay?" she asks 

"Always." Lisa says smiling
