Second day.

Being their babysitter, I had no choice but to come and watch their practice even if I didn't want to.

This was surely a waste of my time seeing as Hanamiya was doing well as their captain and the one devising strategies. I didn't know much about  Basketball anyway. I only knew the basics and that's where it ends.

For the fifth time I sighed and took a glance at my phone.

Quarter to Seven.

They tend to practice a little late and If I was to be honest, their practice sessions often consisted of drills and fooling around. More on fooling around to be exact.

No wonder their previous coach left and no one wants to fill in the vacant space...

Their personalities weren't exactly the best either.

They're downright rule breakers but surprisingly, I hadn't deal with them personally until now. However, their names were  constantly included in the list of students with violations.

My train of thoughts were interrupted as I noticed Hanamiya gesturing for me to come closer.

I raised an eyebrow. What am I? A dog?

"I can hear you from this distance," I spoke loud enough for them to hear and Hanamiya dropped his hand in annoyance.

"You're no fun."

I shrugged. "Thanks. I'm aware," I replied nonchalantly.

One of them shook his head. "Well, we're just about to play truth and dare. Wanna join?"

Truth and dare? Seriously?

"No. It is already late and I suggest we go home before 8."

I watched in curiosity as a sly smirk formed on Hanamiya's lips. "We will... if you join the game."

The warning signs on my head were flashing red but I kept a poker face. "How about no."

He shrugged and squat on the floor. "Then we'll stay here."

His teammates did the same and they formed a circle.

Sorry but I'm...

Not uttering any word, I made my way to their circle. Hanamiya's smirk returned but dropped as soon as I stopped next to the bench where their bags were piled up.

I picked up the keys and pulled out the spare key of the gymnasium.

Before I stepped out completely, I threw him a smile. "Still no and have fun with your game. See you tomorrow at the disciplinary office. Goodnight."

I'm not your dog, Hanamiya Makoto.
