Chapter 2: "My Teammate" [Part 2] [Choice Warning]

[Logan's POV]

Zoe: "Hey hey, what are you saying? You know I work alone and I don't need help to retrieve the briefcase, somehow I will have your friend tell me where he is."

Harper: "I don't think it's a good idea for YOU to do it on your own. That's why you have your friend ... uh ... what's your name?"

Logan: "Logan." -I just said-

Harper: "That's why I pair you with Logan, nobody knows him and maybe he can know where Marloon is. And Logan?" -He asked looking at me-

Logan: "Hm?"

Harper: "We have a laboratory on the third floor, there is a scientist who would love to investigate you, When you have time to stop by of course. Everyone here needs a hand with something, if you help them they may start to trust you. Just because you are the only human does not mean that everyone will love you . " -He sounded serious-

Logan: "And you say so .." -I said looking at Zoe askance-

Harper: "To make sure you don't die out there, there is an armory near by with a field near my office and shooting, before you go on your adventure to get the briefcase, you'd better go armed, I don't think Zoe should carry your ass all the time."-He said laughing-

Zoe: "Okay ... let's go." -She said while walking towards the exit-

We left the office while Harper wished us luck.

Zoe: "Follow me"

We walked towards the armory, I couldn't see anything from the outside, because it was all barricaded and the door had an "Armory" sign. Zoe opened the door and entered followed by me, I can't believe it ..

Logan: "No fucking way.." -I said amazed-

There were all kinds of weapons, along with all kinds of accessories for weapons, silencers, sights, butts, handles, etc. How did they get all this?

Zoe: "If your question is How do we get all this, you better not ask."

I wanted to ask how but, I think I will put it aside, there was no one at the counter, until a buffalo came out from behind the door, he must have been older than me. He looked at Zoe and crossed his arms as he snorted, you could see the air that he released when he snorted. He was just staring at Zoe, he didnt notice me. I  think these two have problems to solve.

Buffalo: "What do you want Zoe? You know I'm not in a good mood so you better not make it worse."

Zoe: "Oh shut up, we're only here because the human needs a weapon." -She said pointing at me-

The buffalo changed his gaze to me and his face turned from angry to one of surprise, none of them had seen a human, I forgot. He quickly knelt down and bowed, as if he had seen a god.

Mac: "Mac Burr at your service, it is an honor to see a human, as a child I always wanted to see one, my dream came true." -He released a tear but quickly wiped it off and got up-

Logan: "Hehe..thanks Mac"

Mac: "What can I get you?" -He said behind the counter-

Logan: "Just ... something that isn't flashy, like a pistol, maybe a knife too?"

Mac: "Of course, let me see what I have here." -He started looking under the counter and took out a long box-

He put the box on the counter and opened it revealing various types of pistols, however I will only take one..but which one?

Logan: "Which one would you recommend me?"

Mac thought for a while, but something occurred to him and he pulled out a pistol.

Mac: "Colt 1911 with attachable flashlight" -He showed me the gun-

Mac's recommended gun:

Zoe: "That old weapon? No no no, you're not going to cover my back with it. Use this better one, Python 357 with anti-armor bullet enhancement."

Zoe's Recommended Gun:

Zoe:  "I assure you that once your bullets hit the target, it won't get up. What do you say? Which one do you want?"

Mac: "Logan, that weapon has a lot of recoil per shot, this one is more stable." -He said showing you his gun-

Logan: "Um..i choose.."
