Chapter 21 : Bracelet(Lauv)

21 | 4:05 a.m.

"Holy shit...."

My head hurts.

My legs hurt.

My neck hurts.

I sat up, cradling my neck as I tried to twist my neck side to side yet hissed when sharp pain erupted.

"Okay, fuck." I grumbled.

I heard a soft tired meow before Ellie's body trampled on top of my blanket covered legs, her head lightly rubbing on my pliant hand as she comforted me, her bright unmatched eyes darting through the dark room.

"Yes, I know. Daddy's tired, so be good today, okay?" I cooed, taking her in my arms as I robotically kissed her all over, trying to move as less as possible with my aching body.

All those conditioning and physical training from yesterday wore me out.

And with Alex flexing all his tan muscles.

It made a pout form on my lips.

Just because he was all tall and handsome, he could flex those right in front of me. Not that I was attracted to him— he was attractive, for sure but with me exercising with him—  me, a flimsy stick with enough muscles from all my dancing.

I decided to take a steaming shower, trying to calm my neck muscles as quick as possible.

I had an interview by 6:15 a.m. so I needed to move fast.

I took a navy blue hoodie(it was Jaehyun's) and pulled it over my body, taking a pair of Nike sweatpants, pulling my Yeezy's on as I rubbed my wet hair.

I took a small bag— which permanently held my things since I go out almost every single day and made myself a whole jug of hog chocolate.

Due to my busy schedules, I usually stayed in the apartment my representative assigned for me which was nearer the UMK building. That meant that I barely even used my condo, the one next to Jaehyun's.

However I hired a caretaker to take care of that apartment and also visit this new apartment to take care of Ellie.

It made me sad not seeing my cat but I needed to do my job as well.

My phone rang in my hoodie pocket and I took it out quickly, seeing 'Alex' on it and I immediately answered it, taking a big gulp of my warm hot chocolate.

"I'm waiting at the front. Are you ready yet?" His smooth voice sounded in my ears and I couldn't help the sigh that left my mouth.

"I'm on my way down. Do you have donuts with you?" I asked, rubbing my tired eyes with a loose fist.

He chuckled.

"Of course I did. You die when you don't get your donuts in the morning."

I nodded, unable to even retort back.

As soon as I left the building, I saw his Ferrari at the front, the window rolled down as he waved at me. I frowned. He was smiling— this early in the fucking morning.

I dumped my bag at the floor of the passenger's seat, buckling myself in as I reached at the backseat, taking the box of glazed donuts.

"Thanks, Lexi." I grumbled through the large bite of warm donut.

He hummed, "Your 11-12 lesson got cancelled so you're free for lunch while I have a lunch meeting with a few workers."

My ears slightly perked up.

"Oh, okay. I'll just message Jaehyun if I can have lunch with him then." I smiled, feeling a little bit giddy at the thought.

I haven't seen him in a long time. Better yet spent some time with him. All we've had were chats and video calls. Everyone in UMK knew my relationship with him as well as Jaehyun's company along with a few close idols close to us.
