Chapter 23 : Embedded Sword

23 | 8:09 a.m.

So I decided to do a live today since most of my days were basically free aside from several promotions and activities set on dates far away from each other so Mr. Kang decided that it would be best that I started the vlog series several days after that dating scandal.

The vlogs were edited and posted on the same day I record them just so it seemed more real and Alex usually supervised what would go in the video.

However it also meant that I got to spend more time with Ellie!

I was sitting at my balcony, eating my breakfast with a cup of coffee when Ellie decided to jump up on my lap.

"Oh! Ellie, it's cold out here. Did you miss me?" I asked, raising her in my arms and gave her a kiss, scratching underneath her chin.

Comments started to flood in and I read most of them, knowing that I haven't officially announced to my fans that I had a cat living with me so it surprised them so much to just have Ellie in my lap.

'Omg it's a cat!!'

'I love cats too! What breeds do you like? I have a Tabby cat xoxo'

'I didn't know Taeyong had one! I thought he was a dog person lol'

"Everyone, this is Ellie. Say hi!" I raised her paws in an attempt to say hi before explaining, "I've had Ellie for ten months now. My past places weren't allowing pets but luckily my last one allowed them and I remembered being so bored that Tennie got annoyed with me so he told me to get a cat." I said with a laugh, the memory engraved in my mind.

'That seems so much like Ten haha'

I laughed at that.

"Yes, it is a lot like Ten, right? I still love that guy though. Johnny just decided to steal him from me." I pouted, hugging Ellie tight to me and she meowed at me, her paw touching my nose.

Ten didn't just leave because he didn't like the tight schedule of an idol. When the media learned about it, the fans were happy but SM wasn't. So being the rebel that he was, he left and did his own thing but SM had urged him to be their choreographer like they were really afraid of losing Ten.

Talk about bipolar asses.

'I still ship Taeten because of these moments.'

'Taeten is cute but JohnTen is hot'

I snickered, "They are hot together. You won't believe how hot it is when they're in a bedroom." I laughed.

'OH MY GOD HAHAHAHA'

'Taeyong just did that I—'

'What a savage'

And then I remembered what the date was and literally gasped so hard, "Wait, today's December 23, right? Christmas is just around the corner." I took my phone out and cleared all my notifications before even reading them and looked at my calendar, seeing my schedule for 24 and 25 filled already.

"What are your plans for Christmas?" I asked.

'My family's flying home to Seattle this evening haha'

'I'm gonna stay at home with my fam too!'

'Me and my mom are cooking later this afternoon for Christmas Eve'

'How about you? Are you visiting home as well?'

I frowned, "Aw, I actually can't visit. I need to do a recording for tomorrow and on 25 so I can't go home even if I wanted. I'm going to talk to my parents later though, to catch up."
