It all began on a bright August night. 12 year old Caroline White was sitting on a hammock swing in her backyard. It was 8:00 p.m and her parents were still eating dinner. Caroline swung, with closed eyes and relaxed. Suddenly, she heard a sound. It sounded like poshsssssssss. "Whats that?" She thought, surprised. Caroline got up and quietly walked over to the spot of pinkish sparkles. When she saw what was on the ground she gasped. In front of her on the ground was a small scroll. Caroline silently asked herself"Do scrolls normally fall out of nowhere in a burst of sparkles? No they don't." She cautiously picked it up and unraveled it. In gold swirly letters
Miss Caroline White, you are receiving this note from the good fairies of Crystal Island. We know that you think you are a normal human, but we have watched you for a while and by your behavior we know that you were supposed to be born a fairy. We are pleased to in form you that you are enrolled at Mary Rose Academy. You are to spend most of the summer in the human world.
