T W O

I closed my book that I had been studying from for the past few hours.

I shut off the TV and went into the small kitchen to get a glass of water when there was a knock at the door.

I sighed, what could someone possibly want at 1AM?

I went to the door and opened it.

Behind the door revealed the guy I never thought I would see until possibly high school reunion 10 years from now.

Zack Morris.

He opened his arms up dropping his bag and I went into them holding him tight.

He kissed the top of my head and I smiled.

We released from the hug still holding each other.

"I- Um uh come in" I say opening the door wider and he walks in.

He looked different now.

A little taller, his hair was noticeably longer.

He had a blue sweatshirt and jeans on.

"How did you get here?" I ask.

he laughs "I got on a flight earlier today. I've missed you"

I went closer to him and he smiled at me.

"I've missed you too"

At this point that was the only thing I could manage to say.

"I transferred" he says.

"But I- I thought you were going to University of California. With Screech and uhm Slater" I say.

"Speaking of Screech and Slater" Zack says and the door opens wider revealing them both.

"Oh um wow. Where are you guys staying?" I asked.

"With us" I hear a voice from behind me and I know it's Kelly.

"I don't mind" Nina says coming out of the bedroom too.

"You guys new about this?" I ask.

"Ya no duh, who would've planned for you to see Prince Charming" Nina says.

I look back at Zack who was still holding me.

He grabbed both my hands holding them.

"I transferred here to be with you. I want to be with you and no one else" he said.

"Zack, I- I don't know what to say" I say.

"Just say we can be together again, like back in high school" he said.

"Zack I haven't seen you in months- we just can't go back to the way things we're" I said looking at him.

"Lets give them some privacy, Slater and Screech I'll show you the guys room" Nina and Kelly say as screech and Slater walk through the door.

I kissed both on the cheek greeting them.

I looked back at Zack.

Though I didn't think it was even possible, he got even more attractive sense the last time I saw him

I liked him better with longer hair, I thought to myself.

He looked at my hands. "Your wearing the ring"

"I've worn it everyday" I smile.

He smiles at me.

"I want us back" he whispers.

"Give it time" I whispered back.

"Let's go for coffee tomorrow morning, Hmm?" I ask.

"Sounds amazing" he says back.

I get on my tippy toes and place a soft, light kiss on his cheek.

"Goodnight" I say.

"Goodnight" he says back.
