Death and Storm

Malalim akong huminga. It's been two months, and I've been sent here to the mortal world again to fulfill a mission or task.

Hindi ko talaga alam kung ano nang nangyayari sa Olympian World. I wonder if she returned, while I'm still here in the mortal world, earning for a title.

They gave me this mission when I asked for help from Hades. Natatawa pa nga siya kasi hindi niya akalaing hihingi ako ng tulong sa kaniya. He was genuinely laughing hard.

His laughter filled the Underworld Palace, at para bang pinipigilan niya ang kaniyang gustong sabihin. Nagkunot noo ako.

"What do you need help for?" Nahihirapang sambit niya dahil sa kaniyang tawa. Hindi ko pa nga maintindihan n'ong una.

Tumikhim ako, at ngayon tumawa si Hades nang tahimik. Si Persephone ay bahagya na ring tumatawa dahil sa tawa ng asawa niya.

"I want to become a God," sabi ko. Natigilan naman siya. Bakit? Imposible ba ang hinihingi ko?

Ngayon ay mahina nang tumawa si Hades, he's slowly recovering. He wiped a tear. Why is he even laughing anyway? Do I look stupid? Argh. I feel like my ego is gone!

"So," panimulang wika ni Hades. "You're doing this for my daughter, Melizabeth?" Tanong niya. Tumango naman ako.

He chuckled again, "Storm Letum. If you are a normal mortal, it's impossible unless you save the world. But the thing is you're not just a mortal. I'm sure you have some mixed memories in your head, boy."

Tumawa na naman siya, at lumingon sa asawa niya. I slightly heard what he said, "I can't believe that I just called him boy! This must be recorded in history."

What does he mean that I am not a normal mortal? Ibig sabihin ba n'on... posible ngang maging Diyos ako?

"Hades," nanggigigil na wika ni Persephone at umirap. Hades then sweetly smiled and mouthed her 'okay.'

Tumikhim si Hades, at ang kaniyang labi ay bahagyang umangat. He studied me carefully, at kung wala siyang asawa ay iisipin kong bakla siya.

"Well, you just maybe need to find the Titaness of Memory, Mnemosyne in the mortal world or other worlds. Hmm, I don't know. It worked for my Persephone before, so it might work for you too," wika niya.

Worked for Persephone? So, isa bang mortal si Persephone noon? At naging diyosa siya dahil kay Mnemosyne?

"Just find her, and let her decide, Thanat- Storm, sorry," sabi niya at awkward na tumawa. Was he about to call me Thanatos?

"It's the easiest way to become a God again," wika niya na ikinagulat ko. Again? What does he mean by that? Nakita ko namang tinampal ni Persephone ang braso niya, "Hades!"

Hinawakan naman ni Hades ang baba ni Persephone, "Chill, my Queen." Iniwas ko ang tingin ko kasi kamukha ni Persephone si Melizabeth, at na-imagine ko tuloy na s'ya 'yon. Tch. Sana all.

So that is why I am here in the mortal world to find Mnemosyne. Sabi sa'kin ni... uhm.... Dionysus, na dito raw siya huling natagpuan. I asked help from him, and I do not know if what he said was true or not; however, I trusted him.

Sabi rin naman ni Persephone na sa mortal world siya mas mabilis na mahahanap.

I'm here in the place where her cult resides. Lebadeia, sa Mount Helicon. Ginugol ko rito ang aking dalawang buwan, at ngayon na ang gabi kung saan ako naman ang pupunta mag-isa sa Temple of Athena Alea.

Sabi ng mga matatagal na rito sa cult, sa loob ng templo sila madalas mas nakakaalala. Iyon nga lamang ay by turns ang pagpasok sa templo. I'm glad I just waited for two months, kaysa sa iba na taon pa ang iintayin bago ang kanilang turn. I can't waste another year again, lol.
