Boyfriend 4 Rent

First time

Its been two days since I had that fateful encounter with Luke again.

I can't believe that the person that my dad wanted me to date and the gold digging jerk I met at the bar are one and the same.

Its also been two days now since I made a stupid lie to my dad that I already have a boyfriend and now I only have two days left to find one and show to him.

Now I am facing three problems. One, where in the world can I find a boyfriend to show my dad. Two, Luke have seen past all my lies and not even for a second he believes what I told him and the jerk still wants to date me.

And three, why does he have to be a good-looking, charming, smoking hot guy with a sexy accent?

Those kind of  boys should only exist in books.

"Alice! Kill me now" I said to my bestfriend

"Don't be too over dramatic Win" Alice said while she is arranging the wide array of roses that arrived on her flower shop.

"Alice, its almost weekend if you don't notice. I can't magically conjure a boyfriend that I can show to dad and Luke" I pick up a red rose and I play on its thorn.

"Use your brain Win! You are a writer, you can come up with a creative plan"

"My brain is not functioning right now. Ever since I lost my book, my mind just refuses to think straight"

"Try to ask someone to be your fake boyfriend!" Alice snatched the red rose that I am playing with and she put it back to the pile of flowers on her table.

"My dad knows all of my guy friends. He won't believe I'm dating any of them" I put my hand on my face out of frustration

"I can lend you one of my delivery boys to play as your pretend boyfriend but you have to pay for their salary"

"No offense Alice, and I'm not trying to discriminate your employees but have you seen Luke? He's like a runway model. Your boys will easily be outmatched"

"Is he that handsome?" Alice lean and whispered to me.

The day after we went to the bar. I told Alice about how I first met Luke and the encounter that I had with him but my bestfriend is too drunk to remember anything from that night.

I pick up my phone from my pocket and search for Luke's Instagram account.

Out of the hundreds of picture he posted, I picked what I think is his worst photograph and I showed it to Alice.

"That's.. That's Luke?" Alice grab the phone from my hand and she kept on scrolling for Luke's pictures.

"So... what do you think?" I asked her

"If I were in your place, the moment that he stepped inside my room, I would have pulled him immediately to my bed and I will not go out for a whole week"

"Alice! Focus okay?! He's our enemy. I need a plan to get rid of that guy. He's bad news to my dad's business"

Though I am really annoyed by Luke, I can't deny the fact that he is really pleasing to the eyes. If I don't know what his real intentions are, I'd be interested to know him a little more.

"Remember the new guy that I hired?! He's not as daddy as Luke but he can pass as your boyfriend. He's cute and your dad doesn't know him"

"You mean Lance? He's adorable but he looks like my younger sibling. And please don't tell me you're crushing on him? He can pass as your nephew" I laugh
