chapter five ✓

"im still waiting for an answer." thomas said. "does johnny even know about her?"

"um... no." i replied.

thomas rolled his eyes at me as he threw himself on his bed.

"well if i tell johnny she's gonna be mad and then she's gonna tell anastasia and then she's going to have me..." i went on.

"dude chill, just end it with her. what's she gonna do anyway?"

"um a lot, she's gonna ask for a reason and when i tell her shes gonna go off and its not gonna be good."

the next day
third person pov

anastasia and nina got ready for cheer practice and were soon out the door. they were then at the school gym.

"i enjoyed 3rd wheeling with you and diego. he seems like a good guy." nina said.

"well, i dont know."

"what do you mean? are you saying you don't like him?"

"what, no i never said that!"

"so you like him?"

"its complicated."

after practice, nina goes to her house and anastasia goes to hers (not to ninas ).

when she gets home she showers and sees that diego texted her.

as time goes by, it has been a 3 weeks since anastasia and diego had seen each other in person. they haven't since. 

sure they've seen each other around the halls but none of them had the nerve to just walk up and say a simple hi. 

they've known each other for a month already.

on october 21st, nina, mila, grace and anastasia were all walking, waiting for the bell to ring when mila sees diego not far from them.

"stasia look, its your lover boy." mila said.

"and he's with a girl." grace said.

and then his lips were on hers. he broke her trust. when she asked if she was the only girl he was talking to he said that she was but he lied. anastasias heart shattered into a million pieces. she wanted to cry.

"you ok stas?" nina asked her.

"i- yeah, I'm fine."

they all went to there class and when
she was walking to hers griff and thomas walked up to her.

"what up stasia?" thomas said.

"are you ok?" griff asked.

"i don't know."

"you tell us." griff told her.

"did you see anything, like, just 2 minutes ago?" thomas asked her.

"oh shit. you did, didn't you?" griff said after thomas.

anastasia tried so hard not to cry but a year rolled down her face and griffin gave her a hug and said, "it's ok stasia. i get it boys are assholes."

"so is she his girlfriend?"

"we both thought that he ended things with her but....." griff said.

"looks like he didn't." thomas finished his sentence.

anastasia rolled her eyes and hugged on to griff again as she wanted to start crying again. diego had walked over and said, "hey, are you ok?"

anastasia looked at him and rolled her eyes at him. "bye griff. bye thomas."

"your an asshole diego."

"shit." diego whispered under his breath.

"yeah, shit." griff said to diego and walked away.

"we told you, asshole." thomas said to him following griff.
