So Thor settled in to his room and Zara was talking with Nat in Zaras compound lounge.
"You know Bucky said I can pick the baby name" Nat said
"That's amazing" Zara said
"Yeah I was wondering if you could help me" Nat said
"Jeez Tash I'm not one to be... ya know the baby lovable aunt" Zara said taking a sip of wine
"I know but I don't care Z"
"Rude"
"So how are you feeling? Still looking pale"
"I'm fine Tash. Just lacking the basics still" Zara said
"Sure so if I ask Lauren she would say you haven't been in bad shape would she?"
"Nope" Zara said and the pizza arrived.
"Save by the bell" Zara whispered and grabbed the pizza and brought it to Nat. She placed it on the table and played a movie.
A few hours passed then Natasha left. Zara was tidying the lounge when Zariyah walked
"So how was sister night?" Zari asked
"Great thanks Zari, how is Maxim?"
"Hes holding up, he knows extremely basic English now, Hello, how are you, my names Max, I'm good thank you" Zari explained
"That's great Zari, thank you so much. I'll take him under my wing for a while now" Zara said
"Zara, not to be rude, just concerned but you haven't slept in days or eating until now. You need rest, leave Maxim to me" Zari said
"No I can cope Zari, but thank you for your concern" Zara said and walked to the kitchen and placed the pizza boxes on the table.
"слава богу, я проголодался" Max said as he walked in
(Thank god, I'm hungry)
"съедать" Zara said and slid the box to him
(Eat away)
"Спасибо!" He said and took a bite
"вкусный" he added (Thank you! Delicious)
"Макс, покажи заре английский, которому я тебя учил" Zari said
(Max, show Zara the english I taught you)
"Hello, my name is Max" he said with a thick accent
"впечатляющий" Zara said (impressive)
"I know! I discovered he knows English language just couldn't speak it" Zari said
"Wait so he understands what we are saying now?" Zara asked and Max nodded in unison to Zari.
"Wow that's amazing. So speaking English is the part we can focus on" Zara said
"Yeah" Zari said
"Max I'm gonna teach you tomorrow, go rest up for now" Zara said and two left. Zara went down to the training room and grabbed her knife collection and was target practicing. She got balls eyes on each target.
"Lauren, what can I improve on?" Zara asked
"Your sleeping?' Lauren suggested
"No chance" Zara said then looked outside
"What's the time?"
"6 am" Lauren said
"How did I spend 3 hours in here without knowing it?" Zara asked
"Because you had a lot of knifes and drink" Lauren answered
"Fair point" Zara said and went to her room, she showered and got changed into a suit as she had meetings today and Maxim was tagging along to help him learn.
"Hello" Maxim said as Zara left her room
"Hi, right so there are many meetings you can learn from today so it's good for you" Zara said
"Did you sleep?" He asked
"Someones picking up English fast, but no" Zara said
"Neither did I, I wanted to learn" he said
"I'm glad you are learning but don't follow me, you need to sleep and be well" Zara said and he nodded
"Right first meeting 20 mins at my other home" Zara said and they went to Zaras car and she drove them to the Avengers HQ.
"Welcome Zara and a unidentified man" FRIDAY said
"Friday register him as Maxim" Zara said
"Registered" FRIDAY said Zara pulled out her ID card and a guest one for Maxim. The two walked to the conference room and Maxim sat down while Zara poured him a cup of coffee.
"So Tomy, Steve and Fury will be in here in 4 minutes, this meeting to to fund our home and find the perfect recruits" Zara explained
"Sounds... good" Max said unsure if that was the right word to use.
"It is, after we have a 1 hour break so I'll take you around here and then we have another meeting" Zara explained and Max nodded then the three men walked in.
"Who's this?" Fury asked
"A man who we saved from Russia" Steve said
"Right, yeah sorry, this is Maxim, a new part of my team... anyway so we have this meeting for funds and he would be a great reason" Zara said and sat down next to Maxim.
"So pitches?" Tony said
"Well..."
A hour later
After the first meeting Zara took Maxim on a tour.
"And this is the room Stark invented a time travel machine" Zara said and she leaned against the boxes.
"Amazing" Maxim said
"Yeah" Zara said and she stood up and stood next to Maxim. She left her legs getting weak
"Max.... catch me" she said before she collapsed.
"Zara!" He yelled and brought her down to the ground carefully.
"What's wrong?" Bucky asked and he saw Zara kn the floor.
"Oh shit" he said and ran to her and picked her up. He ran her up to the med bay and Doctor Cho set up a bed
"What happened?" She asked
"She uh.. fell" Maxim said
"She collapsed" Friday said
"Alright. Maxim can you go find Natasha and tell her?" Bucky asked and Maxim nodded and ran to the lounge and found Natasha
"Наташа. Зара она рухнула!" Maxim said in a panic
(Natasha! Zara she collapsed!)
"- Она что?" Natasha said
(She what?)
"Я был с ней, а потом она вдруг сказала: "Поймай меня". Я так и сделал но она не проснулась" Maxim explained
(I was with her and she suddenly said catch me. I did but she didn't wake up)
"все нормально. отведи меня к ней" Zara said and Maxim nodded
(Its okay. Take me to her) the two left and ran down to the med bay.
"Shes stable, it's a side effect of lack of food and sleep" Helen said
"She hasn't slept in days" Natasha said
"I suggest a medical coma for now, so she can rest and also eat. She has caused herself major issues but her serum helped" Helen said and Nats eyes filled with tears.
"Its okay" Bucky said and hugged his girlfriend tightly
"Give her 3 days then she will be okay I promise" Helen said
"Let's take you to your room" Bucky said and walked Natasha out and to her room.
