27 hours after Zara got ... drugged?

"Hey um Jemma... can I talk to you?" Peter asked

"Sure" Simmonds said and the two stepped outside the room and into a quiet room

"Um Zara hasn't woken up yet and it's been 27 hours..." Peter told her concerningly

"I'll come by and check her vitals" Simmonds said and went inside and grabbed a few things and they went to Zaras bedroom. Simmonds checked over her and started to look concerned and confused.
"Can you carry her down to the medical room for me" Simmonds asked and Peter nodded, he picked up his girlfriend and carried her down with Simmonds.

The two hooked machines upto Zara and suddenly she began to code.
"Doctor Banner!" Simmonds yelled and she started to try compressions as she flat lined

"What happened?" Bruce asked as he ran in and charged up the defibrillator and said clear

"I sedated her and she isn't responding, she isn't waking up" Jemma explained

"Clear" Bruce yelled and used it again but stronger. The finally got a pulse back on her...

Hours passed and they had to keep doing the same thing but couldn't find out why she was like that. They summoned a team meeting but sent Natasha out with Pepper for a few hours

"Zara Romanoff... is downstairs in the med bay, she is coding every two hours" Jemma said sadly as Fitz held her hand, squeezing it for her reassurance 

"We believe as cruel as it is... telling Natasha is not going to happen, she wouldn't cope, so me and Doctor Jemma here will solve a way to keep her alive. We still have no idea why she is dying yet, nothing is making sense" Bruce told them.

"I can go to Asgard and see what can be done" Thor said and flew away

"Tony, mind helping me keep Natasha away from all this?" Bucky asked him

"Anything for her, what do you need?" Tony asked

"A new house, somewhere off the grid style" Bucky asked and the two left.

"I'm going home to May" Peter said and left DC

A few days later

Zara was put into a coma... Natasha was not aware of it yet but the rest of the team was. They all agreed it was best they didn't tell Natasha about Zara as she would just get stressed and could cause many issues. Zara was transferred to Daisy's base in the lighthouse so none of them would look suspicious walking around the two bases.

"Hey my gorgeous girl" Bucky said as Natasha woke up

"Hmm morning" Natasha said and rubbed her eyes

"Hows my two favourite humans" he asked and put a hand on her baby bump

"Kicking, gonna be a fighter" Natasha joked

"I doubt that" Bucky answered and Natasha got up and had a shower. She came back in the room and dried her hair

"Any word when Zara is coming back for Europe yet?" Natasha asked

"Nope... sorry, my love" he said and hugged her.

"Its okay I know she doesn't like to give answers like that... shes very unpredictable. Hey maybe we should have Steve come over, he would love this new house" Natasha said. Tony brought them a 4 bedroom house out in the more private part of DC, perfect for Natasha to raise the baby girl/boy out of the work line.

The two called Steve who ended up driving down a few hours later.

"Nice house" Steve commented as Bucky came outside

"Thanks Steve" Bucky said and checked to see if Nat had followed and she didn't
"How is she?" He asked

"Not good, she coded again a few hours ago. Shes in a coma now... I just don't know what else we can do, just wait and see. Thors bringing Loki in a weeks time to see if magic can help if she isn't awake" Steve said

"I just can't stand keeping this from her but it's for her own mental sake..." Bucky said then the boys could hear Natasha coming towards them on the stoney drive.

"Come on boys, you going to stand out here chit chatting or are we gonna eat the amazing pizza I made" Natasha asked them

"As long as no one gets food poisoning" Bucky murmured and Steve laughed. The three went inside the house and Natasha served them pizza

"What's wrong Steve?" Natasha asked

"Long day, that's all" he lied

"Still a terrible liar" Natasha stated

"I'm fine, don't worry about me okay?" Steve said and she nodded slowly

"We have the gender reveal in 2 months, I was wondering if you and Zara could plan it when she arrives home from her holiday?" Natasha asked

"I would be honoured to help" Steve smiled

Current day

They kept trying and trying and trying to bring her back.
Tony ran down to the med bay and saw the three trying to start her heart.

"Come on Zara!" Banner yelled trying over and over again

"I have it" Loki said walking in with Thor. He ripped off her necklace and then just stood there. Nothing happened and he looked shocked... Daisy used her powers to destroy the heart monitor in frustration and sadness.

Tony went and told Steve who messaged Bucky to be on standby for telling Natasha and Peter.

"Why didn't it work?" Loki questioned looking at the necklace. He knew that was the issue but couldn't figure out why she wasn't awake yet.

"Its okay brother, we didn't know if it would work" Thor reassured Loki

"I did, I spoke to her" he said and closed his eyes and saw Zara stood there against the wall crying

"Zara! You have nothing stopping you now, wake up!" Loki yelled at her

"Loki, give me 3 minutes please" Zara said wiping away her tears and he shook his head

"I expect you alive before the next hour otherwise I will force you and it won't be fun" Loki said and left and went back to reality

"Is she okay?" Thor asked Loki after they left the room

"She is there crying" Loki said and pointed at the floor

"Not then... is she going to be alive?"

"I don't know Thor. It's up to her otherwise we have to use Asgard medical assistance" Loki said and  Thor nodded.

Minutes passed and everyone left the room besides Jemma. She started to take out wired from Zaras lifeless body... after a minute she stopped and cried facing the wall and when she looked into the glass she freaked out at the sight she saw...
