A few hours later
"Sir let me walk Loki to his car" Zara said and Raymon nodded. Zara walked out the door and took Loki through the paths with no way of Raymon hearing them
"What the hell are you doing here really?" Zara hissed at him
"So you do remember everything?" Loki asked her
"Of course! It is my way of saving my family, being a clueless bitch... why are you here Loki?" Zara asked again
"For you. Me and Thor arrived here yesterday and was told the news. Not smart leaving Peter to raise the little one by himself" Loki stated
"At least they are alive" Zara said
"Why did you really leave them?" Loki asked
"I can't tell you because you're just going to go tell your brother and my family where I am and why!" Zara answered
"No I won't, they believe I am in my room at the compound at the moment. My powers can fool them endlessly. Now why would I tell them I found you if I am tricking them?" He asked her
"I don't know okay! I am stressed" Zara said throwing her hands around
"It is okay, I will find a way to help you" Loki promised
"No, I stay here. I can't go back to the old Zara... Peter is capable of raising Angel by himself or with Nadia, May, Nat and whomever else" Zara said as she continued to walk again with Loki
"What if I took you to Asgard?" Loki offered
"No offence but your father kinda hates me. I am not of your world and outsiders are not respected" Zara reminded him
"Odin has no say in it, I am saving you... Lady Sif would enjoy the company" Loki tried to persuade her
"Loki... I can't because then Thor finds out and we all know he can't lie for his life. I'm safer here where no one else can find me" Zara explained
"This is not safe if your demonic looking adoptive father has you this scared" Loki said
"He is powerful, that's why I am staying Loki... if I leave him, even to Asgard... my family will be punished meaning Natasha, Luna and Ronan, Peter and Angel and all the Avengers... if I stay here, I am just kept out of sight and do the occasional dirty work for Raymon... god job I can kill someone without any guilt otherwise I would be dead by now..." Zara explained as she opened up the back door
"I keep to my word, no one will find you here... stay safe Z" Loki said and hugged her before he drove off in one of the cars he must of stolen. Zara smiled faintly before getting back into character and walking back upstairs to her new father
"What did he say to you?" Raymon asked
"Nothing much really, he ain't much of a talker by the looks of it" Zara laughed
"A very conspicuous man" Raymon agreed
"Well if he introduces himself as 'Loki of Asgard' I think it contributes to it. I want to just go out and buy some food at a cafe, mind me leaving?" Zara asked
"Of course not my girl, take Winter with you. She can protect you" Raymon said and Zara nodded. She walked outside and saw the blue haired girl waiting
"Hello my body guard" Zara laughed
"Hello Zara Romanova, where are we going today?" Winter asked
"The cafe" Zara smiled and the two walked outside the building and into the streets.
"What's it like being a lackey to this guy?" Winter asked
"Exhausting. I can't wait to go back to Rome and cause some trouble" Zara smiled
"Well our hit list is big so it will work after Raymon is dead... speaking of Raymon, why was Loki the Prince of Asgard here?" Winter asked
"Tailing me... he was one of my best friends essentially... helped me out of a coma" Zara explained
"What did you tell him?" Winter asked
"Nothing close to the truth, he thinks I'm working for Raymon out of fear, nothing even close to the list" Zara promised
"Why lie?" Winter asked
"Look, I like Loki. If I told him the truth I would of had to try kill him and when he returns back to my old home... they would find me and we would be screwed" Zara explained as the entered the coffee shop.
"Fine, how are you even coping leaving them?"
"Better every second I am with you Winter... no one there knows you exist so it's safer for us" Zara smiled
"I know girl. You know who missed you most?"
"The little boy... how is he growing up there?"
"Amazing, no one even knew Axel is who he is" Winter smiled
"He is what... 5 now" Zara smiled
"Yeah, you were 16 at the time" Winter answered
"I want to see him tomorrow, we finish the mission today and go see him tomorrow" Zara said.
"Okay Z, just his powers aren't stable yet... after the fact his Alien genetics gave him the inhuman gift of controlling water" Winter explained
"He is half human, half kree. His dad was a very aggressive man... I'm glad Axel is growing up away from this" Zara smiled
"What about Everly?" Zara added
"Shes got control of her powers... hers is the most powerful we have seen in a long time, it's almost all the powers combined into one human" Winter explained
"I'm glad she is controlling it, but that is a rare occurrence" Zara explained
"What they get from being brought into that mist from birth Z" Winter added.
"Miss Winter Delilan. Long time no see" the waitress said as she came over to the two
"You too Kiera. I want to have my usual, if you can remember it, while Miss Roman here will have a hot chocolate" Winter smiled
"Okay, I'll be back in a minute ladies" Kiera winked as she walked away
"Ex girlfriend?" Zara questioned
"No not mine. My brothers ex... Benji dated Kiera for 3 years then she decided to kiss me and hasn't let go since" Winter explained
"Damn... at least my relationship isn't that messed up" Zara laughed
"Whatever you say princess. You ever gonna let Axel meet Angel?" Winter asked
"Not sure... Angel is all Peter's now so I don't get a say in it too much" Zara answered
"Its so stupid. How aren't they curious how Nat had twins and you didn't... I know it's rare but your dad was a twin. They should of figured it out by now" Winter said and Kiera came over with the two drinks
"Extra creme for the pretty red head" Kiera smiled as she placed the drinks infront of the two
"Need anything, call for me" Kiera added as she walked away to serve the other customers.
"No one got the hint as no one but me knows my biological dad has a twin brother. Nat didn't know because Ivan didn't let her meet him with the time we lived with them... Axel and Everly are better there where no one besides us and the committee know they exist but only us two know who's children they are" Zara said
"Well of course you know Z, they are your daughter and son" Winter smirked
