How do you trust a stranger?

Nandini got home at around 10pm and she was too tired to even have anything, so she was glad she had informed everyone that she wouldn't be able to have dinner with them.

Once she was in her room, she just dropped herself on the bed. It felt so good to just lay there and as she was dozing off without even freshening up or changing her clothes, her phone pinged.

Her eyes flew open and she grabbed her phone but it wasn't him. Just some stupid company message. She cursed herself for behaving like a teenager for someone unknown.

Now that she wasn't that sleepy, she got up and dragged her lazy ass in the bathroom to freshen up and change into her night suit. She came out and her eyes went on her phone but she looked away.

What wrong had she said? And why even was she waiting for his message?

Sitting on the bed she hugged her pillow and opened their chat.

She just said that she didn't want to have nightmares all her life after meeting him and that he was no match infront of her crush.

So the second one wasn't even an option as he would care less who her crush was and that match thing was just too not important for someone who doesn't even know her.

Maybe it was because she called him ugly indirectly. Yes, he's been boasting about his looks from the start and she just indirectly called him not-so-good-looking.

Should she message him? But what will she say?

Nevertheless she typed a message and sent him.

She sighed when after almost fifteen minutes he didn't reply

She sighed when after almost fifteen minutes he didn't reply. She decided to sleep because she couldn't wait any longer and that tomorrow was a Sunday so she didn't have to get up early.

The next morning she got up at 9.30 am with a smile on her face. How awesome it would be if she got to sleep this late everyday. But alas! It was just a wish.

She checked her phone and surprisingly, there were three messages from him. She opened it without much thought.

Oh boy! He didn't even use any emoji, neither his type nor her type

Oh boy! He didn't even use any emoji, neither his type nor her type. She found him serious.

But what she found shocking was he didn't take offence for the first thing but the second one.

Okay! If he wanted to talk then she'll talk. Till now she was just having harmless fun but it isn't the same anymore.

Why was he even talking about a fair chance? What was he aiming for?

Why was he even talking about a fair chance? What was he aiming for?

Nandini was confused now. She knew he wasn't just some creep because call it whatever she knows when one is a creep.

But a fair chance? Competition? Seriously?

Her eyes popped out seeing him being so direct

Her eyes popped out seeing him being so direct. He really changed his dp from black to his picture. She couldn't see him clearly but atleast more than he could see her. And that she was sure!

What was she to do now?

She seriously didn't understand this guy

She seriously didn't understand this guy. He was so ready to tell her everything about him. But was she?

She sighed once again

She sighed once again. This guy was draining her energy but he always had a valid point.

She couldn't agree more about what he said. Yes she didn't have friends magically. Yes they were strangers at first and she got to know them gradually.

And she hated to admit but he was also right because she was hesitant to get to know a stranger on social media.

Would she have agreed if he was infront of him? Of course she would!

And what harm was there in knowing him here? It wasn't like he had requested to follow her to see how she looked and then insisted on knowing her. She could try to know him right?

Right?

Will she agree? But I completely understand Nandini right now because I'm the same :P
