In 1983, William's marriage begins to fall apart, which is unsurprising, as they were forced to marry in the 60s after he got her pregnant. My hypothesis is that the Aftons divorced. Although I am not sure on the reasons for their divorce, the skin tones of the children that we see are all slightly different shades, suggesting that William is not the father of all of them. As further proof, the in-game show 'The Immortal and The Restless' could easily be parallel to the lives of William (Vlad in the show) and his wife (Clara in the show). However, Michael must be William's son.
