Not Now But Forever

Epilogue

I wiped my little tear as the movie ended. My friends tapped my shoulders.

"Ang ganda. Congrats!" They hugged me.

Napatingin ako kay Dale at Jane. They looked happy now. Naalala ko pa noong una kong nakita si Jane.

"I'm sorry for ruining everything." She sincerely told me while her tears stream down her face.

I shook my head, "Everything happens for a reason. Dale is meant to be the father of your child, Dale."

Jade really looked like Dale. Hindi maipagkakaila na mag-ama sila. My heart would always sink everytime I remember how Dale asked for an apology.

"You don't have to say sorry because you chose to be the father of your child. I understand, Dale." I said as I hugged him, for the last time. I hugged him so tight.

God, this is the man I loved and I am so happy that he becomes the best man he could be.

"I committed a lot of mistakes to everyone. First, I am a bad son to my parents. I am a bad brother to my step-bro. I am a bad boyfriend to my ex. I am a bad father to my child. I am a bad partner to her mom." His statements marked on my mind.

Sa halip na marami ang mainis sa kanya, marami ang humanga.

"I entered showbiz because I don't want to trust everything to my parents. I entered this world and hid my son. Siguro kasi, guilty ako na nakabuntis ako ng ibang babae, na hindi ko iyon sinabi sa girlfriend ko that time. Pero every pain made me stronger. Those storms were now finally calming."

Hindi ko alam pero iyak ako ng iyak sa interview niya. Marami ang humanga sa kanya at isa na ako doon.

Sa pelikula, the character of Zia and Lennon ended together. Siguro kasi, once in my life, hinangad ko na sana kami talaga ni Dale.

Not all fairy tales are made to be realities. Pero masaya ako na kahit sa pelikula man lang, nagkatuluyan kami.

"Hi, tita Charm!" My eyes directed at Jade, he's turning five.

"Hello!" Umupo ako upang magkalevel ang tingin namin. I smiled at him.

"Congrats, Charm!" Dale said while his hand is holding Jane's waist.

"Congrats din! Ang ganda ng pelikula!" I happily told him.

As for Jane and Dale? They are now engaged.

"Punta ka sa kasal namin ha?" Jane shyly asked me.

I nodded at her, "Pupunta ang pinakamagandang bridesmaid niyo!" I giggled.

One thing I learned about life is that it really is full of surprises. Noong akala ko si Dale na, I thought wrong. But being with Dale would always be one of the most wonderful moments in my life.

Iyon ang isang bagay na hindi ko pinagsisisihan na nangyari. Hindi naman lahat ng love story, masaya. Hindi naman lahat happy ending.

Some stories, like ours are a living proof that you can't really have anyone you love, even though you loved them the most. Kasi, hindi sila ang para sayo.

Suot ang champagne flowy gown, I curled my hair. Ngayon ang kasal nina Jane at Dale. They want it exclusive for their families and special friends.
