Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was on a journey and saw a crowd of people, and a man was being shaded (by them). He asked, "What is the matter?" They said, "He (the man) is fasting." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey."
Very few people will be travelling right now, but let's not forget those who are. The health workers who are crossing cities and borders to help out other areas that are struggling, the refugees that are fleeing both persecution and the virus and so many more. We are in the blessed month of Ramadan and the gates of Paradise are open. Remember these people in your dua's and all those who are in much worse situations than we are. May Allah have mercy on all those suffering, ease their tribulations and accept their struggles - Ameen.
