Johnson as Burkley Duffield because I said so. Kindly...

I walk in the detention room with confidence, head held high and all that other motivational crap. Johnson is already sitting when I arrive.

"Hey dreamer."

"Hi." I say in a shy voice. What's wrong with me? Such a wimp.

I go and sit down before waiting for Mr Wills to come for his duty.

A paper comes flying from behind me and even though I already know who its from, I still look back and give him a smile before unfolding the paper.

Date details. Trap details if you ask me but we said we were gonna act dumb.

So its a date? Maybe as friends. As I am about to continue reading, I feel the sun being blocked from my side and I look up to see none other than Kel and her goons. Where did they even come from?

"Sit down girls." Mr Wills enters the room, walking towards his desk which is in the front. Thank God. I continue reading the letter after the girls follow Mr Will's order.

Time: 12:25pm

Place: Malvern Hills

My brother is only going to do the picking up and drive, that's it. Make sure you carry your phone.

Immature, just like in the movies.

Why couldn't he just tell me in person?

I put the letter in my bag thinking about my little problem.

No, I'm joking,  it's actually a massive problem.

 I don't have a phone.

Not because I can't afford it but my dad is punishing me. In his eyes I am reckless because I lost and broke  five phones that he bought me,  so he is teaching me a lesson to be responsible. What he doesn't realise is that its not my fault, things like this happen all the time. I just don't go smashing my phone on purpose.

After the detention, I make my way home. Coincidentally , I see my brother a few steps away from me, I speed walk to catch up to him and as soon as he notices me, he smiles.

"There is the weirdo." He says pushing me into the road slightly, I move back onto the pedestrian pavement. I don't want my brains mashed onto the concrete anytime soon.

"Takes a weirdo to know one." He just laughs it off.

"How was your day?" I ask, softening up the conversation so that he doesn't say no to what I am about to ask him.

"What do you want?" Caught red handed.

"You know me too well." I put my hand on his shoulder, letting out a little laugh and he just slaps my hand off.

"What is it?"

I tell him about Johnson asking me out.

"So? That doesn't concern me."

"Well, yeah. I was just giving you some context but here is the part that concerns you." I don't even know why I am bothering when the answer is going to be no.

"Can I please borrow your phone for the weekend?"  No.

"Okay." What was that? Am I hearing things? Or maybe he didn't hear what I said?

Oh, I know, I am still daydreaming.

"I need the phone because I need to take pictures when I go to Malvern."

"I said okay." So he did say okay.

"What's the catch?"

"Laundry, cleaning room and washing the dishes for me when its my duty."

"For how long?"

"A week." My eyes widen in shock, this should be illegal.

"Are you serious?"

"Is it a deal or not?"

What choice do I have? Its either that or telling Johnson that I don't have a phone, which will put me below my already lame position.

"Deal."

Anotherrrrrr chapter. I swear this book is light hearted compared to what I write these days.

Thank you for the support.
