(This is a poem I wrote that was read at a school dedication)
It's cooperation
It's watching each others' backs
It's never having to hunt alone
It's being part if the pack.
It's doing what needs done
It's making up for what others lack
It's putting others before yourself
It's being part of the pack.
It's sticking up for who you believe in
It's saying, "Enough of that!"
It's others believing in you
It's being part if the pack.
It's thinking of the big picture
It's helping even those whose hearts turned black
It's not wasting what you have been given
It's being part of the pack.
It's knowing we are all equal
Whether we hunt or we heal or we track
It's knowing we all have a part to play
It's being part of the pack.
This is what it means to be Trailside
Though experience is something we lack
But we have a whole year to get it right
As part of the Timberwolf pack.
