Over the times have I missed you,

hoping you could be too.

Although it's already been a year or so,

I've been thinking if I should let go.

All the things, I had to go through.

Praying my desire doesn't grow.

But time, it flies by.

I wish in the past I could try.

But, your heart I just cant buy.

It's the truth, I won't lie.

Yesterday, I went to speak to you.

Apparently, someone had the same idea too.

You were in his arms, looking in his eyes.

My heart warms, my soul cries.

I know we could have been like that.

But love isn't something I excel at.

Beauty and grace, You are all in one.

Looking at your eyes, I feel reborn.

You are earnest and simple, like an open book

They deny, but can't help but look.

Her behavior gentle than the ocean,

Calmer than the trees.

She acts sweeter than honey,

Her words, smoother than the breeze.

But, your heart I can't buy.

It's the truth, I won't lie.

Still, would you be my Valentine?

Just this one time, and realize my dream.

P.S: I wrote this in 5th grade. I cringe every time I read it XD
