Despite the fact that it was Jaehyun's engagement party, Jenna was enjoying herself. She went around the room, socializing with the various guests. She also recieved many compliments for her work and her outfit for the night.
"Jenna, I'm so thankful for you. The outfits made for Inhye and Jaehyun are perfect for the event." Ms. Park gushed. Jenna gave the woman a smile.
"It was my absolute pleasure." Jenna replied, giving Ms. Park a small bow. Jenna was happy to be on the woman's good side. She noticed some familiar faces from across the room and excused herself, approaching the males.
"Dream?" Jenna said, joining the circle they created. Jenna was surprised to see how well dressed all the young males were.
"Hello." The boys said, giving Jenna a polite bow.
"Why are you here?" Jenna asked them.
"The boys work with the modeling company as Inhye from time to time." Jenna turned to see Taeyong approaching.
"Ah, I see." Jenna said, moving away from the young boys to talk with Taeyong.
"Sometimes I wonder how you all got involved." Jenna said carelessly. She only realized her words as Taeyong's widened.
"That's a story for another time." Taeyong replied. The live orchestra began playing a song and the two turned to see Jaehyun leading the dance with Inhye. Jenna couldn't help but feel jealous at the sight.
"Do you dance?" Taeyong as he noticed Jenna's expression change.
"My parents taught me how when I was younger." Jenna told him. They watched as other couples began joining Jaehyun and Inhye on the dance floor.
"Shall we dance then?" Taeyong asked, bowing to the girl as he stuck out his hand. Jenna gave him a small smile before taking his hand, the two of them making their way to the dance floor.

From the corner of his eye, Jaehyun had noticed Jenna's smile as she danced with the various NCT members. He had been so distracted, he didn't notice himself stepping on Inhye's feet.
"Ow." Inhye said, as she stopped dancing.
"Sorry." Jaehyun said and he let go of the girl.
"If you're going to pretend, at least do it better." Inhye said to him, her voice low so no one else could hear. She pretended to excuse herself, walking away from the male. Jaehyun sighed to himself as he stood there, partnerless.
Jaehyun heard Jenna laugh as Johnny spun her around, the song nearing an end. Johnny glanced over at Jaehyun, locking eyes with Jaehyun. Johnny gave Jaehyun and encouraging nod as he guided Jenna towards them. As Johnny spun Jenna around one more time, he guided her straight into Jaehyun's arms.
"Oh." Jenna said, realizing what has happened. A slow smile began to spread as Jaehyun guided her into the next dance, a slow romantic waltz playing from the orchestra.
"Hello." Jaehyun said, in his low voice. Jaehyun felt Jenna tense in his arms, knowing his voice had sent goosebumps down her spine.
"You look beautiful." Jaaehyun told her. Jaehyun could tell that the girl liked her compliment by the small grin growing on her face, but it quickly faded.
"Congratulations." Jenna said, her tone bitter. Jaehyun couldn't help but stare at the girl as she bit her lip nervously.
"I want to take you out." Jaehyun said, ignoring the girl's words. Jenna avoided his eyes, gazing away.
"You shouldn't." Jenna replied.
"But I want to." Jaehyun pressed, holding her tighter. "Please." He whispered into her ear. He heard a sigh escape her lips.
"Jae, you're engaged now." Jenna said. Jaehyun let out a deep breath as he looked into her eyes.
"Even if it's a small business meeting?" Jaehyun asked, jutting out his lower lip in a small pout. Jaehyun noticed Jenna trying to hide her smile as she saw his face.
"I hate you." Jenna simply said, a smile growing on Jaehyun's face as he knew that he had won her over.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow." Jaehyun said, smirking as the song ended. Jaehyun bowed while Jenna curtsied. Jaehyun noticed his mother approaching. Jenna gave Ms. Jeong a smile, before handing Jaehyun off to his mother.
"What happened to Inhye?" Ms. Jeong asked as Jaehyun lead his mother to a dance.
"I accidentally stepped on her foot and she left." Jaehyun told her.
"Is that why she's dancing with that male model?" His mother pointed out. Jaehyun looked over his shoulder to see Inhye dancing with an unfamilliar male.
"I don't know, nor do I really care." Jaehyun admitted to his mother. Ms. Jeong gave out a deep sigh.
"Jeong Jaehyun." His mother said.
"I don't understand why father's doing this." Jaehyun said to her.
"It's all for business and the company, that's why. You'll understand one day when you lead the company." His mother replied.
"JJ Seo is good company." Jaehyun pointed out.
"Your father doesn't like Jenna." His mother retorted back.
"I don't understand why." Jaehyun said, clearly frustrated.
"He thinks you fool around too much with her." Ms. Jeong told him.
"That's Johnny, not Jenna." Jaehyun clarified.
"Your father thinks of Johnny like a son, he'll never admit to that." Jaehyun's mother said.
"Do you like Jenna?" Jaehyun suddenly asked, catching his mother off guard.
"I think Miss. Seo is a fine young lady. Very well put together." Ms. Jeong told her son.
"Good enough for me." Jaehyun said, giving his mother a smirk. His mother slowly shook her head as she began to smile.
"I spoiled you too much as a kid, now you've turned out like this." His mother said as Jaehyun guided her to the side, the song already over.
"Spoiled me with your love." Jaehyun said, giving his mother a wide smile. Ms. Jeong smacked her son lightly on the arm.
"Stop it." She said, sternly.
"I love you, eomma." Jaehyun said, putting his arm around his mother. His mother let out a small sigh of defeat.
"I love you too, my son." His mother said, smiling as the two of them looked at the room full of guests.
