Chapter 2

AJ

I waited eagerly for my twin sister, Alexis (or Alex as we call her) after we called her to come home. I finally managed to convince her to come home. I know she will not miss my wedding. After all we are very close.

Alex and I are twins. She was born 2 minutes after me, which makes me older. I always acted like an older brother to her; protected her and be an older brother on who she could always count on. Because of that we became very close.

We even share the same favorite sport and team. She always tells me when she has a problem or anything that bothers her, and I would do the same. We never keep any secret from each other. Well that's what I thought but when she left, I finally knew that she did keep some of her secret with her.

Maybe because I was too blind to see? I never knew whom she liked or admire and I didn't even bother to ask. I never thought my tomboy sister would have a crush on someone. She never told me or even told Rika, her best friend, who is now my fiancée, knew about it. She never shows her feelings. She managed to keep them from everyone. The only thing I knew is that she really liked to match-make people. I used to think that her match-making behavior is stupid but changed my mind when she match-make me with Rika. She made me found my true love.

I remember the day when she first match-make me with Rika. I was sitting with Skylar or Skye my best friend during lunch, when Alex approached our table with Rika. I was surprised because we never share tables during lunch. She would seat with her group of friends while I sat with mine. However, that particular day, I just sat with Skye as our friends had something else to do.

"May we join you?" she asked smiling at us while Rika just blushed.

I looked at Skye and he shrugged, "Sure," I nodded my head. She immediately pulled Rika to the table.

We all continued eating in silence until Alexis started to talk to Skye. "Hmm, Skye, you promised me that you going to help me to solve the math problem?"

"I did?" he asked looking at her weirdly, but a second later he responded, "Oh, yeah, I did."

I looked at them weirdly especially Skye. He's useless with math and he's helping my sister to solve it? I looked at Alexis with wide eyes as if she's gone mad, "Are you sure you going to ask Skye to help you? He's not going to solve the problem for you but instead, he going to make it worse." I told her.

Skye smacked my head, "You think I'm that useless? I know a thing or two about math and I understood perfectly what the teacher was teaching just now."

"Really?" I asked rubbing the back of my head, still unable to believe him.

"Yeah, really," he said again and stood up and looked at Alexis, "You want to go to the library?"

"Library? You?" I gasped at Skye. My friend really has gone crazy, "Ok," I said, "Tell me what you really did to my friend, imposter?!" I joked.

He hit my head again, "That's shows you really don't know about me," glaring at me and got out from his seating place.

Alexis laughed while Rika just smiled, "Let's go now," she said as she stood from her seat.

"Can I come with you?" asked Rika.

"No," Alexis shook her head, "Why don't you accompany my brother?" she suggested and winked at me. I rolled my eyes at her.

I never talked to Rika before even though we are in the same class and leaving me alone with Rika, giving me no choice but to talk to her. I found that she's very shy girl but love to smile. She's not talkative like my bubbly little sister and that's what made her sweet. That day I really get to know Rika and we talked almost about everything until we didn't realize the bell had rung. Since that day onwards, I start to acknowledge Rika and so was she. I started to treat her as friends but I know I started to like her but I never made a move to ask her for a date.
