Chapter 21

3rd person pov.

after the rehearsal, chaeyeon stayed behind and went to one of the dance practice rooms to practice nekkoya alone

she was still in shock that she got an A (at the last moment)

and all the mentors had agreed

the only way to get out of shock was to keep dancing, at least for chaeyeon

chaeyeon was an extremely dedicated person, and selfless person

she always tends to put others before her and that's something that's probably making her fall apart at moments, but it's also what makes her thankful

they had already fixed the positioning of where chaeyeon would stand for group A

it was said that she would stand next to, but s bit behind, sakura

which was basically semi-center to her

"chaeyeon?" sakura peeked through the door

"yes?" chaeyeon answered [j]

"we are gonna eat in our dorm room today, are you coming?" sakura asked [j]

"i'll be coming later," chaeyeon replied [j] "i just need to finish practicing"

skaura left and decided to make a phone call

"nako?" sakura said in her phone [j] " me and chaeyeon will be staying a little late to practice our dancing for our theme song"

"ah okay" nako said [j] " that's fine, I'm not done cooking yet, so I'll call you guys when I'm done"

" okay," sakura said " bye!"

chaeyeon was still inside, practicing the dance to nekkoya

she heard the door open, but kept dancing as she can see what's happening through the mirror

"sakura?" she asked in confusion [j] "I thought you were going to eat with nako?"

"yea, but nako isn't done coking yet" sakura replied [j] "so I decided to practice too, as I am the center, I really need to perfect my dancing so the national producers think i'm worth"

chaeyeon smiled [j] "i think you'll do awesome as the center, we chose you for a reason, sakura, and that reason is because you are really talented and trustworthy"
