Chapter 30

3rd person pov.

"today is the 3rd mission," lee seunggi announced "this time, the national producers had already heard the songs and voted to put you ladies in a song they believed you would fit in, the concept evaluation!"

"miyawaki sakura, please come up and check what song you have," lee seunggi said "afterwards you will go the designated room"

sakura's card stated  'I Wish'

sakura was kind of flustered by the song, because she had heard it right before getting her card, and the vocals were out of her range

as for chaeyeon, she was still in 65th place, so she had to wait awhile to get her card

their next elimination was in between practicing and the performance, so approximately 3 days from now

"lastly, lee chaeyeon, please come up and get your card," lee seunggi said

chaeyeons card stated 'I Am'

she had previously heard the song before and she was really confident that she would do good

"now, we will recreate groups," lee seunggi said "we know have 35 trainees, only 5 trainees will be able to stay in their group now,

'rumor' team has exactly 6 trainees, as for 'I Am' team, there is a total of 6 trainees, so one will need to move, 'I Wish' team has 7 trainees, 'Rollin Rollin' has 6 trainees, four trainees in 'Let's Meet Again,' and 1 person for '100%'"

"your group will vote on who to kick out," lee seunggi continued "please go back to your practice rooms!"

after the 2nd elimination, chaeyeon was not confident that she would stay in the team

from 10th place to 22nd place,

flashback:

"now announcing, 22nd place," lee seunggi said

"this trainee is an extremely good dancer!"

with this hint, trainees were guessing who it could be

whispers were heard

"WM lee chaeyeon!"

"what?!" gasps were going across the room

from all the episodes before this, she was always ranked in the top 12

but there was no reason as to why her ranking was dropped

she showed her best performance yet in 'sorry not sorry'

after that, nothing was heard, everyone was looking at chaeyeon and lee seunggi in shock as he announced the rank

some trainees even thought to as far that he had made a mistake and had seen the wrong person, or he was on the wrong page, but

he didn't waver

"chaeyeon!" sakura said surprised, immediately standing up from her seat to hug her

sakura patted her head in a comforting manner to try and ease her emotions, sakura had found out that doing that would make her feel a bit more calm

for this performance, she was hoping to stay in the 'I Am' team and going back to where her ranking was before, and maybe every higher

when she voted for who to kick out, she decided to put herself last, ands japanese trainee first

she put the rankings not by who she thought should stay in the team, but by people who she thought would be kicked out

as for sakura, she was back in japan doing her japanese schedule that she needed to complete

she was notified about what was going on

to be honest, sakura didn't want to stay in the 'I Wish' team

although she tried her best, her vocals were not on par with the others, and the notes were too high for her vocal range

so if she was kicked out, she wouldn't really mind at all
