Chapter 19: Harold's Crush

With Todd, George, and Harold

Todd: Ok, there's the door. I just need something to cut through the fence.

Harold: George, do you have anything like that in the backpack?

George searches his backpack and brought the bolt cutters

George: Yeah, I think. Here you go. I got some bolt cutters. Is that seem like a good tool for the situation?

Harold: Perfect.

George gives Harold a bolt cutters

George: It's called backpack power, baby.

Then Melvin appears

Melvin: Hey guys. I hope this gonna work.

Todd: I think so too.

George: Same. What about you, Harold?

Harold: Uh... I don't know.

George: What do you mean?

Harold: I... just don't know.

Harold walks to the tree far and Todd, Melvin, and George looked each other confused

George: What's wrong with him?

Todd: I don't know.

Harold felt disappointment, sitting alone next to a tree, someone walks to him and it was George

George: Harold?

Harold: Oh, hey.

George: What happened?

Harold: It's nothing.

George: You do have anything but something happens. What happened?

Harold: (sigh) I'm just... I'm just worried about her.

George: You are?

Harold: I mean, what if she messes up and getting killed?

George: Hey. She's going to be fine. And we're gonna get home from the game.

Harold: Yeah. And there's one thing I'm gonna tell you.

George: What is it?

Harold took a deep breath (get ready you guys.) ;)

Harold: I have a crush on you.

(HA! I TOLD YOU!)

George *blushes*: You do?

Harold: Yes. I know it's crazy, you're smart, talented, funny, kind, and... cute. I'm sorry that I spoke out loud in Principal Krupp's office.

George: And I'm sorry for planning pranks and making you saying a truth for Krupp and Melvin.

Harold smiles

Harold: And I'm gonna be honest, I don't even like Ari. She's dumb, cowardly, and not-so-great-artist.

George: What? I thought you like her drawing of the bird?

Harold: That was a lie.

George: Oh. But I still like you.

George and Harold hugging each other head to head, but Ari was crying while watching them. She's heartbroken but she's still gonna do acting to distract those guards

Ari: That was a big mistake. (sniffs) Am I right, Cuddles? (tiger cub)

Cuddles purred as a sadness

Ari: He told me that he's the first person that he ever likes me in school, but now he doesn't. Now I'm feeling guilty and being alone with you now. 

Cuddles purred

Ari: Come on, we gotta go.

Ari and Cuddles left

Harold: George?

George: Yes?

Harold: ... I love you.

George: I love you too.

They smiled and had their first kiss (biggest mistake of my life! 😭) They went back to Todd and Melvin

Melvin (to George): How is he now?

George: He's better now.

Melvin: Good. (sees Ari) Oh, here she comes.

Harold seems to upset

George: Harold?

Harold looks at George

George: Are you okay?

Harold: Yeah. I'm fine.
