Ch.01

Lacey sat in a police cell and sighed. She was still covered in blood. She felt sick over what she did. Her boyfriend Ryan had been belittling her and taking advantage over her for months.

He had raping her and telling her it was in her head and that it wasn't raped but Lacey wasn't stupid. She said no and she knew it. Lacey wiped the tears from her eyes. She had stabbed him and she knew he had lived but she knew that she was trapped in here. Lacey started to cry, she wanted to be home and she wanted to be save but she was in a jail cell.

Lacey looked as the cell door opened as she looked up to see sami Malik walked in. Sami looked to Lacey and smiled

"are you okay" he asked as she sat on the floor sobbing. He grabbed her arm and pulled her to feet and pulled her into his arms where she sobbed

"it's okay, Leigh called me and I got here as soon as I could and I am going to do all I can to get to your of here" sami said as Lacey looked to him and smiled.

"I'm scared" Lacey said as Sami looked to her and smiled

"it's okay, I am here and I am not going anywhere" Sami said. Lacey knew Sami was her older sisters boyfriend and that Leigh was the reason that he was here but she was scared and feeling so alone than ever

Sami looked to Lacey and smiled "I am going to get you out of here okay, I am going to help prove the kind of person that Ryan was and what he did rot you as he won't get away with what he has done to you for months, trust me" Sami said as Lacey wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled

"I do, I do trust you. More than anything" she said as they shared a look. Lacey knew he was her sisters boyfriend but she felt bad for Sami, she knew Leigh was still in love with warren fox even though he had taken their baby and left. Sami pulled Lacey into a hug and smiled as he held her close

"I won't let Ryan hurt you again, I promise" Sami said as Lacey rested her head into his chest and sighed. Sami knew he cared for Lacey more than he should, he was going out with legit but there was something over Lacey.

He hated learning what Ryan has done. He had seen how he had been belittling her for months and he hated to see it. Sami hated knowing what Lacey had been through

Lacey walked back into the flat with sami. She saw Leigh and Diane who were fighting for her

"thank god" Diane said as she saw her daughter walk in and walked over to her and hugged her, Lacey smiled slightly as Leigh looked to her

"are you okay?" She asked as Lacey shock her head. Lacey knew how sami had got her out on bail but she was still so scared and afraid. She looked to Leigh and sighed

"he is still out there, he can come for me still I'm scared" Lacey said as Leigh looked to her and frowned, Leigh hated seeing Lacey see scared and vulnerable, she wasn't her sister when she was like that. Leigh looked to Lacey and smiled

"he won't hurt you anymore okay, I won't let him hurt you again" Leigh said. Lacey looked to her and smiled. Lacey knew what Ryan was like and she knew that even if Leigh wanted to help her that he would get to her if he wanted too.

Lacey walked out of her room and smiled as she saw sami. He looked to her and smiled

"how do you feel?" He asked as she looked to him and sighed

"I'm still so scared, I know what he is capable of and I'm scared" she said as Sami walked over to her and smiled. He pulled her close and kissed her head

"I know that your scared, but I'm here and I won't let him hurt you again" Sami said as Lacey looked to him and smiled.

But with Leigh about to leave the village and Lacey and Sami starting to develop feelings for each other could they resist themselves when it came to each other?
