"Okay! That's a wrap for our first song!" Jennie announced

Three days after our band met the music label, we went back for the recording of a song. Jennie is a great producer. She points out what we did wrong and she would try to tweak it. Seulgi, Chaeyoung, and Jennie act like they're friends in and out of the company but we don't. The only explanation is Jennie and I aren't that close so I prefer talking to Ryujin and Bambam since they're both talkative.

We listened to our cover of Heaven by Bryan Adams and it was good.

"Thanks, Jen!" Bambam said

"Right. Who is this bitch that's making good music?" Chaeyoung asked

I timed my thank you with Seulgi so it won't be awkward, and I won't have to face having a conversation with Jennie. However, I think it not being awkward is a fail because Jennie looked at me before turning to Seulgi.

A big bitch.

"Guys, gotta go!" I said and I rushed to the door

"What? Shouldn't we go altogether?" Chaeyoung asked

"Gotta pass, Chaeyoung-ah. See you!" I said and I went out

I ran to Mr. Kim's office. For some reason, Mr. Kim is more welcoming than his daughter. Mr. Kim and my dad are now close. They usually go out for golf and dinner. My dad tags me along sometimes, so, I know Mr. Kim a bit.

"What's up, sir?!" I said as I entered his office

He looked at me and shook his head while smiling as he turns his attention back on the papers on his table

"I have no idea how you could be so formal and informal at the same time," He said

I sat on his couch and served myself a glass of orange juice

"I should be helping my Dad in the company, but meh," I told him

Mr. Kim is cool. I see him as a father figure. He treats me well, so, I appreciate his attitude towards him.

"With or without you or your father, the company will run smoothly," He said

"You're flattering us too much, sir," I replied and he shrugged

"I heard you did your first song with Jennie," Mr. Kim opened up a new topic

"Yes, sir, I did. I must say that your music label has got itself the best producer," I said which made him chuckle

"I hope you could say that to her because you guys do not talk to each other!" Mr. Kim retorted that made me sigh

"Jennie is nice, Mr. Kim. We just don't click, you know what I mean?"

"You'll learn to get along with her," He said

"What do you—" I was about to ask him what he meant but my phone rang so I excused myself

"It's Dad. I gotta pick it up, sir," Mr. Kim gave me a soft smile. I answered the call and I carefully went out of his office

"Yes, my dear father?" I said

"Lalisa, where are you?"

"I'm with Mr. Kim, dad," I chuckled

"Didn't I tell you to go back as soon as you're done? Lalisa—"

"Dad, calm down! Hehe... I was just bonding with our potential partner!"

"That or you want to escape your job?"

"Dad, stop being so judgmental," I chuckled

I walked to the parking lot as I listen to my father's sermon. I got in the car, and drove to the company as soon as my dad finished his lines.
