A few weeks after that night went fine. Jennie and I acknowledge each other's presence and we were okay with living under the same roof. She doesn't mention anything about not wanting to live with me and we don't talk about divorce and all. So, I think we are learning how to live like a married couple.

"What is this shitty report?" I whispered to myself after reading the report of one of our prospect investors. Well, now, they're not.

I was just spinning myself on my swivel chair when my telephone rang.

"Lisa Manoban of Magma Manoban Cars," I answered

"Lisa Manoban of Magma Manoban Cars," Jisoo mocked, which made me end the call but it rang again so I answered it

"Can I not toy with you?" She chuckled

"Why are you calling me on my work cell?" I asked

"I wouldn't have if you just pick up your mobile, but you don't," Jisoo said

You can never win an argument with her. She always has an answer. Sometimes, her answers don't make sense but she's still gonna say it.

"Why did you call?"

"I'm glad you asked. We are just around the corner and we would like to meet you,"

"But Lisaaaaa! It's been a long time!"

"Stop whining. You don't have the rights to whine because you're not my girlfriend,"

But I realized that I shouldn't have said that because...

"Oh. So, you're telling me you would go if Jennie whines?" And I know for a fact that she's smiling from ear to ear

I just heaved a deep sigh and asked her to give me the address to cut the conversation short. Yes. Jisoo Kim won this time.

I grabbed my coat from the rack and put it on. When I stepped out of my office, I saw Yeji.

"I'll go out for lunch. You want something?" I asked

"Yes. Don't be late because your next meeting is in an hour," She replied and I just smiled

Don't get me wrong. I don't like Yeji like that. She just reminds me of Jennie with those cat eyes and a bitchy attitude. Plus Yeji is more like a little sister to me because she puts up with my shit.

"There she is!" Seulgi said once I entered the restaurant

"You don't have to announce that Block Z is here. Do you want a peaceful meal or no?" Jisoo asked through her gritted teeth

"I was just excited to see my best friend," Seulgi said

"Bitch, please. Your best friend does not even see you as a best friend. She sees me as a best friend," Jisoo said while I sat on their table

"No, she doesn't. It's me," Seulgi replied like a kid

"Can you guys shut up? Neither of you is my best friend,"

Both Jisoo and Seulgi looked at me with disappointment painted in their eyes, which made me chuckle

"You are a traitor," Jisoo whispered

"Who is it, huh? Who?!" Seulgi pretended to cry

"It's your girlfriend," But when Seulgi heard that I was pertaining to Irene, she spread her arms victoriously
