Kai drove me back to the company and we went our separate ways.

I proceeded to my office because I missed my phone already and I have to check up on Lisa when Ryujin came barging in.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you can't barge in like that?!" I asked while holding my chest. She scared me

"I-I'm sorry. J-just the CEO called and..." She took a deep breath before speaking

"Stop with the cliff—"

"HE TOLD ME THAT YOUR WIFE WAS CAUGHT IN AN ACCIDENT!" She said

My heart started beating madly. What? I grabbed my phone when it rang.

"Where exactly are you, Jennie?! Your wife is fighting for her life in the hospital!" Dad said

"I-I'm coming," I replied despite the tears that are flowing down my face

I ran to the parking lot and I cannot explain what I am feeling right now. I can't lose her. We still have to live together for a long time. She can't leave me already!

My hands were shaking as I tried to unlock my car but my keys were grabbed away from me.

"I'll drive," She said

I silently thanked her and we went in the car. She then drove as fast and safe as she could when we left the company.

Jisoo called me...

"J-Jen, t-tell me that what w-we're seeing in the news is not true. L-Lisa came to your company, right?" Jisoo stuttered

"I-I don't know. I-I'm on my way there," I answered

Jisoo cursed under her breath and I know that she is extremely worried for Lisa. Lisa, Jisoo and Seulgi may have a playful friendship but they really look after one another.

My phone has notified me about breaking news.

Breaking News:

The famous lead guitarist and COO of Magma Manoban Cars, has been caught in a car accident in the street of ****. Driving at around 50 kilometers per hour, a truck hit Manoban's car in an intersection. Both the truck driver and Manoban are hurt and nothing is known about the result of this accident. Lisa Manoban is 21 years old and is rumored to be the next CEO of the family's expanding business, to be named M Conglomerate.

"Boss, we're here," Ryujin said

I quickly went out of the car and ran to the reception of the hospital. There was a lot of reporters outside but I used the VIP entrance

"Uhm... L-Lisa Manoban p-please," I said

"She's in the ER, ma'am,"

I ran to the ER and I saw Lisa's parents there. They looked at me worriedly and then to Lisa. I saw her because the only thing that's separating me from her is the plastic curtain.

I saw how the doctors were gathered around her, treating the wounds on her body. Lisa has a cut on her neck and her eyebrow was busted. I also saw some bruises on her arms.

"Mrs. M-Manoban," I called

"Oh Jennie," Lisa's mom hugged me and that's when I lost it. I really needed someone to hold on to
