The artist we have here today is Yoshitaka Maki. Unfortunately, I can't get much on them since their Twitter is probably Japanese, given Merryweather's track record.
Summary
Izumo is your pretty average student; he gets good grades, is socially awkward, and usually doesn't want any trouble. But trouble comes a knocking when a thick succubus named Anastasia visits his door to steal his beautiful cherry. But Izumo is not willing to give up the goods, so they are at an impasse.
Characters
Izumo: While he does carry a pretty stoic and scary face, Izumo is pretty much every introverted nerd. Despite this, though, Izumo's willpower is incredible for the people he does care for. Through his relationship with Anastasia, he manages to become a more social person.
Anastasia: Like every average succubus Anastasia is flirtatious, bratty, and confident. Through her relationship with Izumo, she manages to realize sex appeal isn't everything.
Overview
Yoshitaka has a fantastic art style that makes me feel like this is a manga colorized. While I will admit comedy for me is hard to describe, but I'll try my best here. Despite their predictable characters, there is just enough nonsense and absurdity that makes this story relatively hilarious.
Another significant aspect is that the series does have ongoing story arcs to keep things fresh. Weird premise aside, Anastasia and Izumo have subtle but great chemistry with each other. The fantasy world that the series sets up also has a lot of variety that unfortunately never comes to pass.
During season 2, the artist, unfortunately, had to pull out the series, but through the power of Patreon, a new artist took their place. Unfortunately, the new artist I felt like was really good, but they didn't like drawing the characters, and there was a lot of fan backlash. Thus the series was put on hiatus.
Epilogue
Overall, msg is a great WEBTOON that, unfortunately, got capped in the worst way imaginable. But the series has recently returned to form with a different artist, and I hope I can see this season 2 storyline unfold once more.
