Have you ever wanted to unleash the beast? If so, then this webtoon will be the thing for you. But, sit back one and all because I'm about to tell you the story of Weak Hero by Seon Pass (writer) and Razen (art)!

Story

Idk about all of you, but here in South Korea, school has become nothing more than a vehicle for middle school monsters to gain unrivaled power. To survive, one must be meaner, bigger, and more robust, just like the law of the jungle.

Or at least that's how it used to be until we get introduced to Gray Yeon. This mysteriously quiet, intelligent, and physically unimpressive individual has gotten thrown into the fangs of Eujang High. But over time, it's revealed quickly though that the introduction of this "weak hero" will soon upset the status quo of this jungle to its very core.

Characters

Gray: Our fabled "White Mamba '' of Eujamg Gray is quiet, observant, intelligent, and highly resourceful. Gray feels like he must answer every fight despite how much it hurts him. Other than that, though, he slowly moves on from his pain while still keeping his usual tendencies.

Eugene: Gray's ever-fateful friend, Eugene, is a very passive but friendly guy who tries to stay out of trouble. Despite this, he usually knows the most about the various delinquents in Weak Hero.

Big Ben: Ben Park is about as big as his nickname. Ben is loud, energetic, and caring to a fault. He looks out for everyone under his care and has the strength to prove it.

Alex: Ben's loyal friend, Alex, usually tries his best to keep him safe.

Gerard: The mysterious hotfoot of Eujang, Gerad, is an enigmatic character with many weird hobbies and interests.

Overview

Weak Hero is a very different action webtoon. Instead of martial arts or pure natural talent, Weak Hero offers a far more tactical worldview. Gray never gets in a fight; he knows he can't win. He often analyzes his opponents, fights dirty, and uses nearby weapons to destroy the opponent psychologically.

This makes Weak Hero a very realistic and far crueler webtoon than other action stories, which honestly makes it refreshing. Honor and morals are overrated sometimes, and in an unfair world, why should we fight fairly? Weak Hero is just a webtoon that appeals to your inner sadist in general through its masterful and realistic choreography.

Every chapter excites you more as we see Gray completely mess people over in deliciously violent ways that are a feast for the eyes when perfectly built up. But if the action isn't enough for you, then stay for the multilayered relationships between Gray and his posse that is sure to warm your heart. This raw emotion to Weak Hero also makes me feel for the characters more than in most stories.

Throughout the story, we get introduced to the Delinquent Union, a complex network of high school gangsters that further hit home that unfair tactics and intimidation are the names of the game. The union is a good way of naturally building up the story while showing off different characters' perspectives. Finally, the art of weak Hero is pretty to look at with this streamlined look that gives characters a type of gloss and overlay that is much appreciated.

Epilogue

Overall I can't recommend Weak Hero enough; it's an addicting romp of a ride that is not slowing down anytime soon. Moreover, it's a unique action webtoon that will be one of the mainstays of Webtoon in due time. With that out of the way, let's turn our spotlight to another heartwarming webtoon as our story goes on.
