Izuku told kacchan that he was quirkless and the picking and bullying got worse, his mother would get drunk and ignore or beat izuku. Izuku not wanting to be any more of a burden did online courses getting ahead of his class by a few grades, taking workout, parkour, gymnastics, martial arts, and many different languages and his own code for his notebooks.

The abuse and bullying have gotten worse as he has become an outcast of school. It has gotten to the point were mom is always drunk and somehow some mirical Izuku has no scars at all.
