It's been 2 weeks since Ava broke up with Joe. She was starting to think about letting him explain the day everything happened but didn't let him because she was, of course, hurt in that very moment. She found herself missing him more and more as each day went by, regretting the decision she made more and more. She couldn't sleep and she was stressing herself out a little more now that she has a couple photo shoots coming up soon. Joe on the other hand, hasn't been the greatest either. He ignored almost everyone except his parents, wasn't getting much sleep and barely ate all 3 meals. He tried contacting her at least a few times a day, in hopes of getting a reply back from her, but always came up short.

Ava left Joe's message on read and bit her lip. She debated on going or not, not sure if this was the right thing. Knowing that she doesn't have much time, she made up her mind. She took a shower and then later got dressed into a pair of sweats and a black long sleeve shirt. She decided to curl her hair a little bit so it can look like she tried a bit and went with no makeup on. She applied her chapstick and looked at the time, seeing it was nearing 6.

She sat on the bed of the hotel room she's been staying at for the past few weeks, well days since she came back to Louisiana just 2 days ago. She was slightly nervous to see Joe again and also because she didn't know what was going to happen. She missed him, there's no denying that. All she wanted was to be back in his arms, be able to create even more memories with him and be able to hear his voice again, hear his laughter. Then came the overthinking, something that she hates about herself because no matter how much she thinks about the positives, she overthought. She sighed, grabbing her keys and phone, along with her wallet and made her way out of the room

She had made it to the café a couple minutes after 7 due to the traffic. She parked her car and took a deep breath before exiting. Her heart was beating more than usual, not knowing what the possible outcome of this conversation made her even more nervous. She opened the door and looked around, spotting Joe in the table at the corner, his back facing her. She fixed her hair as she made her way to the table, sitting down in front of him.
