Chapter 31- wounded

No POV:

The girls and Jay ran through the jungle as quick as they could. Akita was getting closer but keeping up this pace at all times was a challenge.

"Don't give up yet. We're nearly there!" Nya said
"We're never gonna catch up with her! She's a wolf! She's like, ten times faster than us!!" Jay panted
"Actually, approximately 23.5 times faster than us." Pixal and Whisper said at the same time.
"Wait. Can't one of you just like, have rocket feet and go fly ahead or something?" Selial asked
"We are designed to be as close to human as possible. This does not include 'rocket feet'." Pixal said
"What about you Selial? Can't you just teleport ahead or something?" Skylor asked
"Too weak... can't do it." Selial said
"Hey what's that?" Jay asked, pointing at a dead rabbit on the ground.
"Ewwww!! Gross!" Skylor went.
"Look at this. Chew marks." Pixal pointed out.
"I ain't looking at any of that cus thats nasty!" Jay said
"Do you think Akita did this?" Nya asked
"It's possible." Pixal said
"She must have been pretty darn hungry then." Selial said.
"Yeah. Let's keep moving." Jay said, keeping away from the rabbit-corpse.

We carried on running but something strange started happening with the tracker. It said that she was staying in one spot!

"That's odd. Why would Akita be staying still?" Nya asked
"Maybe she's taking a rest? Hey! WE should do that!" Jay breathed, sliding against a tree o to the floor.
"Or maybe she found another rabbit?" Skylor suggested

Then in the distance, they here'd a loud SNAP. And then an engine. It sounded as if it were getting closer. They all jumped into a nearby bush and saw LOADS of the same government vehicles going by.

"Do you think they got some more people?" Skylor asked
"Let's hope not."
"Hey.. is it just me or are all of these vehicles going in the exact same direction the Akita is?" Jay asked
"He's right! Look!" Nya said
"But how do they know where she is?" Selial asked
"Oh no..." Whisper said. She took the tracker and started to go through it's system.
"What's wrong?" Nya asked
"We've been hacked!!!" She said
"WHAT?!?!?" They all went.
"They somehow hacked it. They now know where we all are!"
"Wait. When you say all... do you mean?" Skylor started
"We HAVE to warn the guys!!" Jay said
"I've got this." Whisper said, pulling out ANOTHER gadget from her bag.

This one was a smooth metal orb. She pressed a little button on and 8 robotic spider legs slid out.
"Okay... we only get one chance to record a message. Once the message is heard the orb will deactivate. So don't screw this up." Whisper said
"Soo... it's sends a recorded message?" Jay asked
"Yes. But only one. So we need to plan what we're gonna say."
"Okay, let's just keep it simple and say the the government guys have hacked our system and now know where we all are so they can expect company." Skylor suggested.
"Okay..." whisper said, hitting record.

"Hey guys. It's us. We just found out that the government guys have hacked in our systems and-" she started
"GUYS!!! THEIR COMING FOR YOU!! BE PREPARED!!!" Jay screamed and the recording stopped.
"Quickly! Send it off!" Nya said
"Hang on... I need to program it to head to their location. But I don't know where they are..." Whisper said
"I can track Zane's coordinates and program it into the device so it will go there." Pixal said, putting the coordinates into the device and sending it off.

"Do you think it'll reach them?" Selial asked
"Who knows. But right now, we NEED to find Akita." Nya said

~~meanwhile~~

"Hold on Echo!! We're coming for you!!" Kai shouted, running through the forest.
"He's close. Keep going!" Zane said

The three guys ran out of the bushes and came into a big clearing. A few meters away, they saw Echo, being suspended from midair by a strange person in a mask.
