"Your majesty, you need to calm down," sabi ni Luna habang tinitignan ako palakad lakad sa harapan nya, napailing na lang sya sa problemado kong mukha.

This fool, how dare he pushed Luna just like that?! I clenched my fist under the blanket. Ang ayoko sa lahat, ang sinasaktan ang mga taong malapit sakin.

"Third prince, dapat ba kita paalahanin that Luna is working under me? And who gives you the permissio---" I paused para kunyareng umubo bago nagpatuloy,

I raised my eyebrows at this, oh? So the third prince is just a shadow behind the second prince hmmm? Hindi na rin ito nakakagulat dahil lahat ng atensyon ng Emperor ay laging nasa pinaka 'mabait at successful' nyang anak which is the second prince, akala ko walang pakialam ang third prince sa mga shininanigas sa palace, but looks like he's longing for his father's attention.

Kung alam lang ng Emperor ang demonyo sa likod ng maamong mukha ng second prince, mas pipiliin nya pa ang third prince as the next heir of the throne.

"Enough about me, nandito ako para sabihin na pinapatawag ka ni papa sa guest room..." He trailed off at masamang tumingin sakin while looking at my movement suspiciously.

"...I don't know why kung bakit bigla ka na lang nagkasakit when you're perfectly fine yesterday, if I found out you are planning something funny, I will hang you in front of the palace," he said with a clear warning on his voice.

"Third prince, is that a threat? If yes, hindi mo ako mapapatumba ng ganyan lang," mala atittude din na sabi ko. Aba kung ayaw nya ako respetohin edi wag, but his words made me afraid a little bit dahil mukhang seryoso talaga sya.

The third prince give me a last glance bago lumabas ng kwarto. Luna closed the door once he was out of the room immediately.

"Your majesty, let me escort you to the guest room," Inabot ni Luna ang kamay nya para alalayan ako.

I murmured a soft thanks at naglakad papalabas ng kwarto with Luna behind me. I wonder why kung bakit pinapatawag ako ng Emperor? Maybe he's suspicious of me too? Maslalo tuloy akong kinakabahan mamayang gabi.

Mga nakakadalawang minuto pa lang kami naglalakad nang marating na namin ang guest room, the Emperor of Hisu is patiently waiting inside. Luna bowed her head and remained outside the room as I entered and seat across the Emperor.

Kumunot ang noo ko ng makita ko isang kurtina sa tabi namin out of blue. Nasa gitna ito ng kwarto, its purpose is to hide half of the room. Makikita mo ang malaking space behind the curtain, why would the Emperor put a curtain in the middle of the room? Anong tinatago nya? Or maybe sinadya nya talaga ito for this meeting, for aesthetic vibe you know?

"Ah Empress Blair, balita ko masama ang pakiramdam mo? I tried to call you earlier, but the maid told me you are sick and won't let anyone inside your room. I hope makakapunta ka parin sa celebration tonight Empress Blair," Itinaas ng Emperor ang tasang hawak nya, waiting for me to toss my tea cup with him.

I awkwardly toss my teacup with him at masayang ininum ng matandang Emperor ang tasa nya.

"Ah, before ko sabihin ang reason why I called you here Empress Blair, kamusta ang Izu? Balita ko under attack ang Izu? May nag sabi na ba sayo nito?" Tanong ng Emperor matapos nyang uminom ng tea.

Walangya, ang daldal ng gurang na to. Hindi pa mag straight to the point na.

I tried to search his face for any sign na may kinalaman sya sa pag-atake ng Izu, but the only thing I found is mukhang wala syang pakialam sa nangyayare sa Izu ngayon, which is either sya nga ang taong nasa likod ng lahat ng to o talagang wala syang pakialam.

"I got a letter, so if you don't mind your majesty, please pakisabi kung bakit mo ako pinatawag. I want to rest more a little bit para sa celebration mamayang gabi," I said with a fake smile at iniinom ang tea ko matapos ko icheck ito from any poison.

"As you wish Empress Blair, kaya kita pinatawag dito dahil ipinacancel ko ang maskara na pinapagawa mo, because the Emperor of Jisu wanted to personally design your mask," proud na sabi ng Emperor. Bigla ako nabulunan ng marinig ko 'to.

What?! Why would he do that? This raised a red flag inside my head. Kung sya ang gumawa ng maskara ko then...madali nyang malaman agad kung nasaan ako mamayang gabi, fuck, this is not good.

"Here," masayang sabi ng Emperor ng Hisu at ibinigay sakin ang isang simpleng blue mask with golden designs on it. Nag aalinlangang tianggap ko ito.

"This is a exquisite design I must say, I am pleased to have the Emperor of Jisu to design this mask for me," mahinhin na sabi ko, trying so hard not to break this mask in half.

"Your majesty, what do you think?" Tanong ng Emperor ng Hisu at humarap sa kurtina na nasa tabi namin, I looked at the curtain as well with a clear confusion on my face.

"I'm glad Empress Blair liked my design," the familiar voice said behind the curtain.
