'Why does this always happen to me? Why am I always needed in the principal's office?' i thought as I was walking with sona, we're on the way to the office

"Kira, do you have any idea as to why you're being called to the office? You don't seem like a person to start a fight" asked sona

"it's probably about that pervert issei, I saw him and his friends peeping on the kendo club, and so I told the girls and watched as the girls beat the shit out of them... It was kinda amusing if you ask me"

"Why didn't you tell me? I would have loved to see that? Anyway, what happened next? You shouldn't be in trouble if that's all you did...also, watch your language" asked sona, man, this girl's observant and doesn't let a word slip her mind

"well after class yesterday, as I was about to go home, he suddenly shouted at me and said that it was my fault that he couldn't see the girls' boobs, I told him that it was his own fault and shouldn't blame me for his idiocy...then he went for a straight to my face, I dodged and he hit a tree...you think I'm gonna get suspended?"

"don't worry, if all of those things that you said are true, then at best, you'll be off with a warning," she said flashing a small smile at me

"also do you play chess? " she added

This piqued my interest and answered, "yes I do, why?"

"Great, would you mind if I invite for a match later after class?"

"Sure, I'd like that, I haven't played in a while so don't expect me to be on top condition"

"Alright, and we're here, I'll be seeing you later Kira"

"alright sona, I'll see you later"
I said as I entered the office

"ahh, Mr. Ainsworth, I was expecting you, now please have a seat," the principal said, and of course I complied

"Now, why's issei hyoudo's hand injured? " his voice made a sudden turn, it sounded serious

"he was blaming me for him not being able to peep on the kendo club anymore and attempted to hit me in the face, but sir, know that I didn't even lift a finger at him, it was him who hurt himself, his fist collided with the tree behind me" I explained, albeit a little nervous at first

After a few minutes of talking and explaining...

"Alright, your words have been proven true, so I'll let you off with a warning because even though it wasn't direct, you're still the cause for his injury, now you may go, and don't let this happen again, I won't be so nice next time, understood? " he said

"thank you, sir, and I promise it won't happen again"

After that, I went straight back to class, and everyone started asking what the I and the principal talked about, these people are nosey as fuck, even my English teacher, they should mind their own business

I kinda just zoned out throughout the whole class, when I came to my senses the class was already ending

"Alright class, that's all for today, be sure to pass your homework Tomorrow, see you tomorrow"
Our homeroom teacher dismissed us

'when the hell did she mention a homework? Sigh, I'll just ask sona, I'm headed to the student council office anyway' i thought

When I arrived at the office, she was playing chess with a red-haired girl, and sona's making it look like child's play
'good thing I reread my own notes about chess before I zoned out in class' i thought, this match with sona might be a tough one...

"hello Ainsworth, what can I help you with?" saji asked, where'd this guy come from?

"hey genshirou, Sona invited me to have a match, but it seems that she's preoccupied"
