"Did you ever invite Your mom and Jinx?" London asked
I shook my head no "I invited my mom but that's it. Jinx may be biologically my baby father but he had made it clear he's gonna pick and chose when to be in my baby's life and I don't need that." I shrugged continuing to fix my makeup
Things are going a bit better for me. Raven is still staying with us but me and London brought a 4 bedroom house that were all going to move into. Normani and me started talking again, she planned my baby shower for me. I figured the more help I have with this baby the better. London's mom is still on him about wanting him to get back together with Raven.
"You almost ready?" London asked as I stood in the mirror
"I'm nervous. I know my Aunts, uncles and grandparents were surprised when they haven't seen or heard from me in a year and then got a baby shower invite."
Honestly I only invited them to be nice, I didn't want my mom to post pictures of it on Facebook and they feel some kinda way
As I was lost in my thoughts London stood behind me wrapping his arms around me. I blushed as he swayed us back and forth "You got this, it's gonna be a good night. Your gonna come home and go to sleep and tommrow I'll start moving everything into the new house and we can get started on buying stuff for my Godbaby room." He said and I smiled — "Normani you outdid yourself." I smiled looking around "How much money did you spend? Should I be looking for my card to decline next time I go shopping?"
She smiled "Actually you didn't pay for anything in here London did."
"That's sweet but I told him not to, his mom already thinks I'm trying to use him to be in my baby's life."
"Okay but you know that's not the reason why y'all are so close. You met and became friends before you were pregnant. You know what the deal is and so does he." She shrugged
"Y'all come with me for a second." London said jogging over to us and grabbing my hand leading us to a room in the back "You know Your mom, dad, brother, and sister is here? And Jonathan came with them?"
"What? I specifically said on her invite that I only wanted her here. And Jinx wasn't even supposed to know there was a baby shower in the first place."
"I'll go get your mom." Normani said
"Shit can never just go my fucking way." I said pacing around the room "Why is she even talking to Jinx? She doesn't even like him, my dad hates him. My dad laughed at the fact that I was pregnant yet he's at my baby shower?"
"Come here." London said and I sighed walking over to him. He pulled me down onto the couch and put a arm around my shoulder "Don't get too worked up. This is still your day, we gon get through this together." He said right before Normani and my mom came into the room
