5 months later

Mevkibe stood looking out the window from Sanem's kitchen, thinking about what her family had been through in the past year and a half. though it had been hard the families were finding ways to forgive and heal. They had spent as much time together as they could, talking, laughing and crying together. Sanem and Leila were mending their relationship as well. As Sanem told, her she was her abla and love was also forgiveness. She told her this all started because Emre had deceived her and if she had listened to her heart things might have been different.

Aziz and Mirhiban had quietly married with only Can and Sanem present as their witnesses. Can and Mirhiban had taken all the time they needed to begin to know each other. It was funny to everyone else how much alike the two were. Ayhan and Osman had moved back to the mahala because both were homesick and missing their friends. Cey Cey was happy because he loved Ayhan and wanted to date again. Osman and Leila were getting to know each and maybe this time, since she didn't have stars in her eyes for Emre, it might have a chance to become more.

Today, had dawned beautiful, bright and sunny and she was happy they could all be together to share in the joy and love of their children. Can walked into the kitchen, he had a quilty look on his face. Mevkibe smiled at him, she knew he would not be able to stay away. She watched him walk toward Sanem's bedroom. Ayhan, Deren and Leila were all watching her get ready for the day. He knocked on the door and Ayhan opened the door just enough to see him standing there.

" Can, you cannot come in here." she said while rolling her eyes at him.

" I know, I just want to hear her voice, please."

Sanem giggled from behind the door, where she was hiding.

"Can" she said in a breathy tone.

"Sanem" he answered "seni seviyorum, I love you."

"Seni seviyorum" she answered.

" I will see you soon, Bebek, baby" he said and walked away.

All the girls had tears in their eyes as they heard him walk away.

"I knew he wouldn't be able to stay away." laughed Deren.

"I'm surprised he hasn't knocked the door down." said Leila.

They were laughing when another knock came to the door.

"Can" Deren yelled.

"No, Nivat." was the answer.

He came in and tears came to his eyes as he looked at Sanem.

"you look beautiful." he cried.

"Baba, stop or I will ruin my mascara." They hugged.

"Today, I gain a son but I will never lose my daughter again." He pulled her into a hug and then nodded for Leila to come join them.

The three girls left the room and shortly, Sanem placed her arm through her father's and joined them.

When they walked out to the garden, Sanem looked to see Can standing there so handsome with tears falling from his eyes. She smiled at him and then kissed her father's cheek as he handed her off to the man who would soon be her husband.

She looked up at him and smiled "We are getting our happy beginning Can. Seni seviyorum."
