Khalid:

Nice one, Vivienne! When will you stop pushing me away? I can't believe you!

Guilt enveloped me. He's frustrated, I could tell. Kahit sa text ay hindi maitatago ang pagiging sarkastiko nito.

Me:

I'm sorry, Khal. That's the right thing to do.

Khalid:

It's not, Vi. I just wanted to be with you. Alone. Alin ba don ang hindi mo maintindihan?

Me:

We have a lot of time in this world, Khal. For now, be with your girl.

I sighed when I didn't get a reply for almost five minutes. He's probably busy with Sabrina now or maybe he's mad again. My lips twitched and I just put my phone back in my pocket. My next class is an hour after so I was left here in this gymnasium with Corsey and Georgia. There were no games or practices going on so we chose to hang out here. The place right now is quiet and not too crowded.

"Ugh! How can I stop this feeling?" Narinig kong sambit ni Corsey kaya napatingin kame ni Georgia. Nakahalumbaba siya at para bang andaming iniisip.

You can't dictate your heart to love someone who can't love you back. Not the person who can only offer you a friendship. At kung ganun lang sana kadali, I wish I'm not hurting right now. "Don't ask Vivienne, she's obviously been asking the same question for years now." Pang-aasar ni Georgia saka humagikhik. Inirapan ko na lamang siya at hindi muna pinansin.

"Si Von ba?" I asked Corsey and she nodded.

Von Drick Salmonte was the one who dared her to kissed him only to prove that she's a good kisser. He's also the friend of his brother who's courting her for almost two years now. Nalaman na lang namin ang tungkol sa kanya noong pinilit namin si Corsey na magkuwento noong gabing isiniwalat ito ni Rhodney sa amin. We've also met him once nung nagpunta kami sa bahay nina Corsey and he's actually a good looking man.

"Diba sinabi naman niya sayo na mahal ka niya. And you also love him so why do you want to stop your feelings for him?" Tanong ko. Umayos siya ng upo at hinarap ako.

"Because he has a history of being a playboy and is arrogant. He's not my ideal partner, Vi." Sagot nya na tila nahihirapan.

Khalid is also like that.

"Ay bet ko siya! Yung mga tipong maginoo pero medyo bastos!" Sabat naman ni Georgia habang pumapalakpak pa. Seriously, kelan kaya to mag seseryoso sa buhay?

"You're not helping, Georgia!'' Singhal ko sa kanya pero natatawa lang sya.

"If you don't want him, just give it to me." Georgia joked then winked at Corsey. "Sige na nga. Dyan muna kayo at mag hahanap lang ako ng pokemon." Isinukbit ni Georgia ang kanyang bag at tumatawang naglakad palayo.

I faced Corsey again and calmly talked to her.

"That's the thing about love, Cors. It will automatically hit you. Even if you don't want the person or even if you hate him, kapag mahal mo edi mahal mo. Kahit hindi pa sya ang ideal man mo, mawawala lahat yun because your heart beats for that person. I know it because we're on the same page, Cors. The only difference is that he loves you but the man I love doesn't love me. Something that you should be thankful for."
