Klaus POV
What is the meaning of the metric system? I understand that it's an efficient way to measure stuff but I'm convinced it's just system of torture.

"Welcome back class, now I gave you your assignment this morning, so you will be working on that for the entire period. I have a meeting for the rest of the class period and this school is too low budget for a substitute, so you're on your own. Good bye!" Ms.Bass echoed out.

On her way out, she ran into the door forgetting that those exist. After dramatically falling to the ground, she got up and rushed out the door slamming the behind her.

Something was definitely fishy. (The quality of the fish would be low since this school is still cheap)

When she left the classroom, everyone started going wild. One person threw paper into the air for absolutely no reason. This is no time for aesthetics Sandy! I got up and went over to Isadora, the only other sane person in the room.

"Do you-"

"Aah!"

She turned around with a frightened expression on her face.

"Sorry, did I startle you?"

"Yeah, but it's not your fault. What were you going to say?" She said.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to find some poster board so we can present our project."

"Alrighty." She agreed.

Ms.Bass told us that we would have our measurements be in some kind of object form. (For example; she 5.4 #8 chickens tall or 7 ketchup packets wide)

We got up to leave the classroom.

"Hey! Where are you guys going?" Some person from the background asked.

Even though I was facing against the other students, I could feel each eyeball now on us.

Isadora and I slowly turned around as if we had been in tv show or movie.

"We're going to get poster board for our project." Isadora calmly said.

"Really? Of course the orphans are actually working on the project when you could be doing literally any thing else." The voice said (I didn't know the person's name)

"If you don't mind, we'll be going now. Just because we are good students doesn't mean we're stuck ups."

We left the classroom.
