A week has passed since I last saw hunter in the forest. I have been going there every day but there is no sign of him there. Its like he doesn't come here now. The foot prints have started vanishing. No new foot prints are here. I don't know why but I have started to get worried about him. What if something happened to him? What he is badly injured or worse de- my thoughts came to a halt when I heard some twigs snapping. I whipped around towards where the sounds came from only to see a dark figure hiding behind some trees in their shadows.

Me being the curious and probably the most stupidest person to ever walk this earth, I start to go towards the huge figure hiding in the shadows. Just as I was reaching it, it started to move towards me. I gulped down my sudden fear, and take a few steps back. The figure is huge and black. Very tall as compared to my 5'5" figure.

When the figure came out of the shadows I nearly had a heart attack. It was a massive, over six feet tall, pitch black wolf with mesmerizing smokey grey eyes. What a beautiful and mesmerizing creature. I think while losing myself in its eyes which were scanning me. Yeah a very beautiful and dangerous, might I add, creature that could tear you to shreds and kill you in a instant! My mind shouts.

The huge wolf steps closer to me and I freeze. Fear coursing through my vains. I close my eyes shut and prepare for the worst. He's going to kill me. He's going to kill me. He's goi- my thoughts freeze when I feel him sniffing me and then growling lowly. I open my eyes only to come nose to nose with the huge beast.

My breath hitches and my heart beat accelerates when he sniffs my neck deeply like he finds my scent nice. Yeah that would be my rose and vanilla scented body wash that Ace gifted me a while back. Then he suddenly nudged me with his muzzle making me look at him wide eyed. I took a step back from him to get some space between us but he kept closing the space by getting close to me.

Finally I got what he was trying to say. He wanted me to pet him. So reluctantly I stretched my hand out to him and he leaned in for the touch. I started to move my hand in his fur which was surprisingly more soft than I thought. Its softer than my bed. I think to myself. I smile when I hear him pur at my action. Wow! A wolf that purs. Hah! I smile to myself.

I continue to pet his fur he kept making sounds that felt like he was enjoying it. I scratched him behind his ear and he made a low growl. Wait that growl was familiar. I think back to my little encounter with the hunter and I remember him growl like this. Wait, what?!

I withdraw my hand quickly which results in the wolf whining. I quickly take a few steps back bit he starts to come closer. I raise my hand to stop him and he stops. I looked at him fearfully and with confusion. "Hunter?" I ask in a whisper. The wolf looks at me and halts its every movement. He looks at me for some moments before his ears flatten and he looks at the ground like he is ashamed.
