Esmè got to work and sighed as she stood calling max. Esmè was worried. She didn't think that max had come home the night before. He hadn't been there when she feel asleep or when she woke up. She knew that he and grace went to see a lawyer. To see over getting Lexie back from Kim.

Esmè knew it was awkward, it was awkward knowing how her boyfriend and older sister had a baby together. She knew that they had history but she only hoped that it was just that and history.

She couldn't help but worry over how much time that they were spending together, Esmè walked into the school and frowned as she saw max and grace as they stood talking. She looked to them and frowned to herself, she felt something as she looked to them and she didn't know what it was.

She didn't know if it was worry or jealousy but Esmè knew it didn't feel right as she looked to them. Esmè knew that there was something that was off about it all and it worried her. Esmè knew that they were getting close so that they could get Lexie back with grace and Esmè knew she had given her sister the money for a lawyer but Esmè couldn't help but worry that they were getting closer than they should be

Max saw Esmè and smiled as he walked over to her. Esmè turned her back on him and sighed as she walked towards her classroom. She walked inside as max followed her, he looked to her and frowned

"so are you going to talk to me and tell me what is going on with you?" Max asked as Esmè stood by the window and sighed as she looked to him "grace is what's going on, you and grace are spending a lot of time with her and I know that you have history i mean you do have a child together and I'm worried" Esmè said as max looked to her and smiled

"the only interest that I have in grace is Lexie, our daughter. We want her away from Kim and we are going to coparent. She won't even let me see Lexie" max said as Esmè looked to him and frowned "can she even do that?" Esmè asked as max looked to her and sighed

"no, we're going to get her back you don't need to worry over me and grace, I am with you and I love you" max said as he kissed the top of Esmè head as she looked to him and smiled

"I love you too" Esmè said. Esmè knew max was trying to reassure her but Esmè still felt that there was something off about it all

Esmè sat in her clssroom and sighed as she saw Tom as he walked in. He looked to Esmè "we need to talk" Tom said as Esmè looked to him and rolled her eyes

"we have nothing to talk about Tom, so safe your breathe" Esmè said as she stood up as she started to hand out texts books. Tom walked over to her and grabbed her arm forcing her to look at him

"you and I know that's not true. We need to talk about us, you know what I said you can't play happy families with max, you know he is in love with grace, he doesn't love you. Not like I do" Tom said as he placed a hand on her cheek and looked to her

"don't Tom, you and I aren't going to happen again, you broke my heart and you hurt me and I don't trust you. So we are never getting back together and we never will so you need to accept that" Esmè said as Tom sighed, he walked to the doorway and looked to her and smiled

"I'm not giving up on you Esmè, I know that you still have feelings for me as much as you Deny it" Tom said, Esmè looked to Tom and sighed as he walked off. Esmè knew that lake did with mess with her head

Esmè sat in the pub and sighed as she sat with a bottle of wine. She was meant to be meeting max but he had stood her up again. She looked to see Tom as he sat next to her

"let me guess, he isn't coming"

"no, he's not, he has to go and meet the lawyer" Esmè said as she read the message max had just sent her "of course he had, you know he's sleeping with grace and you don't deserve that" Tom said as Esmè drank her wine. She knew she was getting drunk but she wasn't too drunk "you think my sister would do that"

"it's max, you know what she's like and you deserve better" Tom said as Esmè looked to him and smiled as he leant in and kissed her. Esmè found herself kissing him back as it got passionate

"let's get out of here?" Tom said as Esmè looked to him and nodded. Not knowing how one night with tom was going to change everything
