"Deja vu"

Beneath your forgotten daydream,
Lies sensation of a whimsy megrim,
Reminiscing memoirs from the past,
Illusions and scenarios that never last,

The bitter aftertaste of sweet regret,
From memories you wished to forget,
The truthful lie you begged not to see,
Hides nostalgia of memento mori,

What triggers your anger and will,
Shows want you needed to heal,
Time to wake up from your illusion,
This is not just a dream but a vision,

No one knows what the future lurks,
Hard work makes the dream work,
Wanted to make dreams come true,
First you must wake up and be you,

The mind may stop remembering,
The heart will always remember the feeling,
May the mysterious aches of deja vu,
Teaches you to have a humble point of view.
