ARNAV

I couldn't stop smiling, I don't know how it happened but we just ended up proposing to each other at the exact same time and in the same manner, and I swear it was beautiful.

The both of us were still on our knees smiling at each other, I was glad to know that she was thinking about the same thing that I was, it meant we both were ready for this.

"Yes." We said it together again and laughed as we helped each other stand up. I had been thinking about marrying her for a while now, and when I came back, I just thought it was the right time, I realized it after not feeling any negative thing about Aditya when I found him at Khushi's place and I knew, I was getting better.

I moved closer to her without wasting any time and claimed for her lips, this was the most beautiful moment of our life so far, and I just wanted to cherish it.

"I love you." I bit her lower lip slightly as I sat that.

"I love you too." She smiled as she looked me into the eyes for a moment and then kissed me again. Someday I was going to tell our kids how we proposed each other, it was the most beautiful proposal ever.

After a while we pulled apart and just leaned against the car, she stood beside me holding my arm and having her head resting on my shoulder, for a moment we were just silent, this moment was too big for us, it just took us time to actually accept that it was real and not just a dream.

"So, do you have any date in mind?" I asked her.

"Nope, I'm okay with anything, do you have any date in mind?" She asked.

"Not really, but I want it to be as soon as possible. If you want a big grand wedding, then we can take a month or so because we'll need time for preparations, but if you're okay with a small, family and friends type wedding, then we can do it anytime soon, just at the temple and then we can do it legally too." I suggested.

"A big wedding would be too much stress, I mean I'm a famous model, you're a famous business man, imagine all the people we'd have to invite and if we forget someone, it would just be drama.

All I want is a happy wedding, with no drama, no problems, a day we can cherish forever, so I think a small one would be fine." She said.

"I think the same, we should just get married at the temple with our friends and family, then we can throw a big reception."

"Sound good to me."

"You know we've never talked about your family."

"I don't have a family Arnav, my only family is Ananya."

"You know what I'm asking Khushi." I looked at her seriously.

"Look, I grew up wanting to become a model, when I made the decision they threw me out of the house, they said I was dead to them. I dint give up thought, I tried to talk to them, to be in contact with them but they dint want it.

Even after I became famous, I did try but for them I was dead and I accepted the fact, I am dead to them so basically I don't have a family Arnav. Your family might be orthodox, mine was worse, my profession is a crime to them.

The only time they would think of wanting to talk to me would be when I quit this and I am not ready to quit doing the things that make me happy. I have accepted that I don't have a family and I would like it to stay that way please.

All this years, that was the reason I was even trying so hard to look for love. I just needed to feel loved because quite honestly I never felt that way from the only people I should have and I met you, and I felt that and that's all I need.
