Darkness, that's all I see......darkness.

"Hello!" I ask.....no response

"Anyone!" Call out as the darkness

I just look around, over and over again. Hoping for just a glimmer of light

Then I saw it

A white-cap

It stood out like a sore thumb in the dark

"Summer!" I ask as I try to walk to her

She turns around and smiles

"Summer!" I call out again as she begins to fade.

As she fades, the darkness does too

"God turn that dreaded sound off," I say out loud

"Your awhile Mr. Ironwood," I hear a nurse says as she turns the sound down, my vision was rather blurry so I couldn't see her face

"Thank you," I say as I try and remember what happened. Me and Father had just shot down a plane an---

"Is father ok?" I ask her

"Yes he is, he recovered 4 years ago," The nurse says

"Hmm, that's good I guess.......wait....2
4 years?" I ask her as my vision slowly gets better

"Yes, you were sleeping for 4 and a half years," she tells me as she looks at the monitors

I fell myself suddenly become dizzy and I close my eyes again

"Just stay calm, I'll call your father in," The nurse says as she leaves the room

4 years...4 years of lost time. My mind drifts to team STRQ. I wonder how Summer is doing. I wonder if Tai and Raven are still together. I wonder how Qrow is.......I wonder, I wonder...Maybe Tai and Summer are a thing now. My chest tightens just thinking of it

I remain thinking for a while...then Father came in

"(Y/N)! Your awake," he says sounding actually worried

"Yea.....I am," I tell him emotionless

"I'm so glad, I didn't know if you would wake up again," Ironwood says relieved

"Yea," I say in disbelief

"Look, I know I haven't been the best father, but I really have changed...I promise," He says sincerely

"Yea," I say looking away.

Ironwood sighs, "it's clear you don't want me here, and I know you have someone you'd rather talk to, so I brought it here, I hear you two can talk," Ironwood says. Who is he referring to?

Suddenly, I get an all too memorable voice in my head

"Hey kid....or souls I call (Y/N) since your an adult now," Lizart says

"Lizart! What happened!" I asked it

"That one kid exploded, he left your father without half of his body and the blast knocked you out till now, oh boy it's been so bad since you left," Lizart says

"Why, what happened!" I ask

"Atlas, they tried finding a new pilot, but in the end, they were unsuccessful, and left me in a cargo facility for 3 years," Lizart says
